The front desk staff were nice and friendly. The room was okay but the A/C in the room made noise. It was our first time staying so it wasn't that bad. Didn't tried breakfast or other services. The area is kinda sketchy but I guess it's because it's near downtown.

This hotel is on a very busy street. It's extremely noisy. Lots of transients and homeless around this area. The room was really dirty. The sheets and towels seemed okay but the blankets and bedspread smelled stale along with the carpet and drapes. Nothing had been wiped down in years. (walls, doors, etc.) The bathtub was dirty and had to...

It was a good place to sleep and very convenient to where I was going. I liked the location. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. The rooms are very dark for day time sleeping. The place was kind of secluded which I liked very much. Being fenced in made me feel safe.

The reason why I stayed at this hotel was that I attended a conference at the Convention Center which is not far from here (15 minutes walk or a short bus ride), and the Hilton and Marriott were beyond my budget. Unfortunately, the area where the Elan hotel is located is a relatively run-down part of downtown San Jose -...

Minutes after my niece and her 3 children (5 & 1yrs, & 3wks) checked in to hotel, my nephew finds dirty glass pipe in night stand drawer. I called Daniel at front desk to come to room 113 to see for himself what my 5 year old nephew found in the drawer. He was not able to explain to me...

We were at a conference about 9/10 of a mile from the hotel. Unfortunately, the wrong direction. We were two professional women and this is a "working man's hotel" with construction types sitting outside their rooms smoking and drinking beer. Keep in mind I am married to a contractor, so I have no issues with their profession, but it was...

NOT a hotel, this motel is overpriced and dirty, especially corners and grout. Bad pillows, only 2 per double bed, WiFi and TV did not work. Service was friendly but slow and barely competent. Charging a $20 pet fee at this dump is really shameful. The best part was the cute cat in residence.

The reviews certainly don't lie. I usually like to decide for my self but this place needs shutting down. Traveling California with my partner, paid to stay here for 2 nights. Get to the motel and we are early. Receptionist wants to charge us for being early?? So we took a wander around the neighbourhood instead! Get into the room,...

The sleeping area was ok . Definitely in need of new carpet extremely bad condition. The toilet area is another can of worms. It appeared as though someone had used the wall as tissue for their nose and right beside the toilet there was a smear that appeared to be feces. I did not want to get to close to...
