The combination of reviews and price made me conclude that this was an outstanding value. What I didn't know was that the hotel is being renovated, meaning that the hallways and common areas are very rundown. The breakfast was ok, but very limited in choice. The coffee was awful! There is a multi-story building going up next door, meaning noise...

If you're in a complete bind and have no other options - then this hotel should be considered. Otherwise, find somewhere else. It's got the appearance (inside) to be under construction with jobs left untidy and messy. The rooms had an incomplete feel like more was to be done, soon. The best part was the breakfast and that too was...

The other reviews really tell it all. The carpets in the hallways are filthy and torn. The bathroom was kinda dirty and the fixtures are all old. There was construction on the lot next door that started early in the morning and blocks the sidewalk to the east of the property. It needs a complete remodel.

It appears this hotel is in mid-remodel. The lobby is decent, but OBVIOUSLY remodeled! (Long strips of brass on the ceiling that used to hold dozens of light bulbs! It must have looked gaudy before, but they really need to completely remove the light fixtures and re-texture the ceiling.). The carpet in the 2nd floor hallway is very tattered and...

first I want to be fair because I think they might be remodeling. But there was no signage explaining that. The carpet in the hall was just awful and smelly. Room was big, but the bathroom was not up to par. Beds were not comfortable. Location is good and plenty of parking. Oh, the breakfast? pass. Free is good when...

We were able to check in early which was nice because we were exhausted from a long travel day. Hotel is old and needs renos which they are working on. We had renovated room which was nice and big. Bathroom was still old and needed updating. Breakfast was just ok. We were very close to San Jose Sharks Rink which...

Okay, so, this property is about 40 years old, including the carpet. There are no conference facilities, no ballroom, etc. Just 3-4 floors of rooms. No updates to carpet, paint, doors, etc that can be seen in the hallway. I've stayed here 3x in the past 18 months and assumed that i'd show up and find the carpet replaced in...

About the only good thing I can find to say about this place is that the rooms are reasonably large, and the location convenient to the SAP Center for Sharks games. But the interior is simply awful, comparable to mid-priced hotels in third world countries. Both the guest room and the hallway had torn carpet everywhere. Not just a rip...

This hotel was so nice and smelt so clean as soon as you walked in. It is an older Hoyle but well taken care of the rooms are great size and the tub is huge. The location is more than perfect it's walking distance to the SAP Center. The employees where very friendly also. The breakfast wasn't the greatest but...

We hap purchased Sharks tickets and needed a place for the night since we live over 2 hours away. Since the Arena Hotel offers a complimentary breakfast and complimentary parking, they fit the bill. We arrived a bit before 3pm but the room was ready. The room was large and spacious. There was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. Since...
