We had a bungalow right on the property it was cool listen to the animals growl and wine and for all night long but it didn't keep us up then in the morning elephants two of them brought us breakfast and then we fed him a treat and took some pictures real fun time something that I've never done it... We did a 10 day trip in California recently but needed a quick overnight stay. As an animal lover, I was intrigued by this place but was also worried maybe the animals weren't cared for that well. I was pleasantly surprised how much this blew away my expectations. I really felt like for a night I was in Africa (even... More

We stayed here for one night with my 6 year old daughter. Everything was immaculate, from cabins to customer service to tours. My only complaint would be about the counter girl on Sunday. We were waiting to get our free 1 pm tour passes, and with only 8 min left she was just standing there chatting with another counter girl... More

My husband and I enjoyed 2 wonderful nights in bungalow 5 and thoroughly enjoyed it! Our room had every amenity and still had the feel of being on an adventure. We loved the star gazing and animal noises at night, meeting and feeding the bengal tigers (what gorgeous creatures) and our favorites, the elephants. The included tour was extremely well... More

What a great experience! I wish we could've stayed more than one night. The cottage was large and comfortable. We took the advice of others and put the heater on and turned on the mattress warmer before we went out to dinner. In the night we heard the lion, ostrich and owls calling back and forth to each other. The... More

I brought my two grandchildren; ages 10 and 8 to experience the closest thing to an African Safari available in their own country. You will not be disappointed at all visiting and staying over at the B&B. The front desk personnel upon arrival are smiling and super helpful and will print out instructions to local restaurants and the check in... More

Best experience. Worth every penny. It was an amazing experience. Feeding the animals and bathing the elephant was an incredible adventure. Being able to sleep in a bungalow and hearing the sounds of wild animals was exciting.

Our family (2 adults, 2 teens) spent a summer night on site after touring the zoo that afternoon. We enjoyed the afternoon animal walk (we were introduced to a young warthog and a bearcat) and falling asleep to the roars of the lions. Of course the highlight had to be feeling the elephants as they stopped by each bungalow with... More

We were really excited to first hear about the Vision Quest Safari B&B: safari-style cabins overlooking the elephant enclosure, animal visits and breakfast brought to you in the morning by an elephant. Additional perks (for an extra fee) included helping to feed the tigers and put the elephants to bed. We booked! Once there (and in hindsight) we were left... More

We regret that this individual left us little to address and/or correct in their comments. Trees in Monterey County are extremely protected and due to the construction on our property that is making the home for our animals so much more rewarding to them, we are very monitored therefore removal of trees is not an option. We will explore the... More

We spent a few days here in the spring and loved it. It was great for kids and families and amazing to feed the elephants each day. You can do a Pachyderm Tour at the attached zoo and bathe the elephants too. Ask for a cabin on the far side--8 is a good one- for better views and no road... More
