I stayed here for 3 nights with my teenage daughter who had a dance competition at the Memorial Auditorium. Our experience overall was just OK. Here are the pros/cons: PROS Distance/Walking - Very close to the the Memorial Auditorium, the closest hotel. The other hotels are still within walking distance, but sometimes 2 blocks make a big difference when you're...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I recently attended a professional event, but as a retiree did not want to spend a lot of money on a one-night hotel stay. (Miss having an expense account!) The Quality Inn Downtown Sacramento was recommended. The price was right and the location was close to event venues. This place is great! Single queen room is spacious, comfortable (albeit simple),...

From the entrance next to an industrial office building, to trying to figure out if that single door was really the entrance, to the reception, which felt more like a visit to the DMV, "drivers license, sir?", to the prison looking gates, to the old motel style design, to the paint peeling off the narrow walkway to the room, I...

I had to relocate from Hyatt because of one extra night. It was a few blocks down but still a great location, close to some night life, parks, etc. I felt safe here and the front desk staff was friendly.

We stay at this hotel for one night, the hotel is not far from the center of downtown sac. Very clean rooms, not smell at all inside the rooms, nice and very comfortable bed. Offers continental breakfast, the only bad think is the small parkingspace.

Pros: One block away from the Sacramento Convention Center; Very nice/friendly staff who were helpful and willing to give me a late check out of 1:00pm; Rooms look upgraded so that made up for the exterior of the place; Price is reasonable but sometimes you get what you pay for so keep that in mind. Cons: Exterior is run down...

The room was nice and clean but, I experienced several issues on my stay. Number one, the lock on my door was broken. Every time I needed to get in my room the front desk staff had to let me back in using their master key. Then the front desk staff does not keep any cash so I was unable...

Great location from the Capitol/Midtown, but nothing says a good nights rest like 4 throw pillows in lieu of actual pillows on a king sized bed. Honestly a little let down that there aren't actual pillows on the bed.

This was the worst experience ever! First, I booked this hotel through Hotel.com and once I showed up to the Hotel and checked into my room, there were "cockroaches" crawling on the night stand near the bed. I immediately called Hotel.com since I did the booking through them requesting a refund or an immediate transfer to another hotel as I...

We had one Wednesday to spend in downtown Sacramento on our way to San Francisco. Although it was a weekday, most motels nearby charge $170 or more per night. So we settled on Quality Inn, which cost much less than other places. The outside looks a bit dingy and the elevator was not working because of repair. We had to...
