I've been staying at the MI off and on over the past 4 years. Rarely does it disappoint. Most of the staff are professional and friendly. Its always an adventure and enjoyable experience. The hotel maintains its world class appeal but doesn't lose site of the common touch.

Decided to surprise the wife for an evening at the historic Mission Inn and dinner at their prime steakhouse. It was just after Christmas and their displays of holiday lights and decorations was beautiful. The room we selected was not the base, but was somewhere in the middle. We weren't pleased with the room as we were expecting a balcony,...

This is one of the few times I can truly say everything was perfect! The property is beautiful, the bar was friendly, the restaurants were amazing and the staff was excellent! Well done! I did use their valet service and they were wonderful and accommodating. They took great care with a high-end vehicle I had. My dinner at Duane’s was...

This place was awesome. Upon entrance, I felt like I was in San Diego mission district. It was so darned relaxing! My room - beautifully appointed and comfortable - overlooked the pool which was beautifully lit up at night. Room service was prompt. The robe was the best hotel robe I've ever had! Felt like slipping into velvet! My only...

A high quality, good service hotel with a lot of personality and a unique atmosphere. Very impressive Christmas décorations. The place was just beautiful. I stayed there for business but this would also be a great weekend get-away.

We visited during the festival of lights, the entire property is covered with twinkle lights and is beyond festive, from the front all the way to the pool area. We had dinner at the Riverside Inn Restaurant and the meal was wonderful. This is a must see historical landmark.

There are certain properties of such iconic status that if you can stay in them, you must. The Mission Inn is one of those. Over a century old, and in the heart of Riverside, this is a stunningly beautiful property with excellent restaurants, a mandatory bar experience in the President, and wonderful grounds. Negatives? Parts of the property need a...

This hotel was the dalliance of an early California businessman who got lucky with a location that ended up being ground zero for the growing citrus trade in California. It's eclectic and architecturally diverse...with different parts influenced by different regions, but it feels disjointed. The carpets are worn and checkin staff peremptory.

But that's where the positivity stops. I had a corner room that faced a railroad track that operated every 15 minutes ALL DAY AND NIGHT. Not to mention, there was also a parking lot that had its lights on all night, and the blinds did not have black out curtains. Worst night of sleep I have had in any hotel...

Went for Christmas Eve for late lunch and a walk around. It's a very beautiful hotel with a gorgeous backdrop. Service was stellar, the food was good and the atmosphere was breathtaking. This hotel is very busy this time of year for the festival of lights but nothing seemed chaotic, everything appeared to be steadily flowing. If you plan on...
