To start, location is horrible--literally in the middle of nowhere. You'll have to drive at least an hour to get anywhere. If you have kids, don't even think of staying here. The posts on the balcony are so wide that a child could easily fall through (see picture). How is this legal, seriously? So just keep the kids inside? Nope....

My aunt owned a timeshare at this hotel. But she and my uncle was not able to make it so she lent me her timeshare for a week. It was my kids' Spring Break and my Birthday. The timing was awesome. I love this Resort! It's so quiet and in a somewhat remote area with beautiful views of the mountains....

I would have given this resort 5 stars if it wasn't for their beds. The room was one of the best I have stayed in, but the bed was one of the worst I have slept in. Both my husband and myself checked out at 5:30 a.m. because we couldn't stand staying in that bed any longer. The room itself...

We're sorry to hear about your experience with the bedding. The Mattresses are all brand new and unfortunately still very firm. We appreciate your feedback and welcome you back in the future.

We only spent 2 nights, but it was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Fireplace in living room was a plus. Plenty to do for adults and children. Ten dollar resort fee always annoys me.. Early 10 AM check out. This is a timeshare, that sells vacant condo on a daily basis.

Riviera Oaks is a Diamond Resort (read: timeshare), so it has great amenities. Full kitchen, which has all your cooking necessities. We got a great deal (Groupon), and would definitely go back if we could get another good deal. Pools, spas, fitness center, tennis, etc. The rooms are dated but are clean and have some updates, including newer appliances, and...

This was a last minute reservation so our preferred choices for the area were booked up. The unit had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and set up like a typical timeshare unit. No complaints, but just very generic. Free Internet. The instant lighter didn't work to light the fireplace log, so someone was sent very promptly. I would have liked...

We stayed one night in a condo that was nice. Full kitchen, big screen TV, comfortable bed and a patio in the back. We were there to sleep but could have enjoyed a wide variety of facilities like tennis, racquetball etc.

This place is a bit off the beaten track which was just what we were looking for. It was a great value. We had a large, comfortable 1 bedroom condo with a full kitchen and everything you could want in it for a weekend or week's stay. There are pools on site and golf nearby. It is close to the...

We stayed here on a timeshare reservation. Our two bedroom unit was spacious with lots of closet space and a full kitchen. The grounds are just lovely, lots of manicured trees and flowering plants. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Riviera Oaks is located in a residential area, so it's pretty quiet. For even more quiet get a room away...

We had a week in this quiet area and loved it. From the quaint village of Ramona to the desert, where the flowers were blooming, to a visit to San Diego. We had a great time. The facilities were just what we need and are happy with everything.
