We were visiting the area and this has always been a favorite pub, but on this occasion, the chef outdid his/herself. Absolutely amazing entrees, each of us were delighted with what we had. I had the chicken risotto with sun/dried tomatoes and pine nuts. Please keep on the menu!! It was heavenly.

This is a great place for a date either in the main dining room or in the pub. Just know that the menus are slightly different, so you may want to review beforehand. Also, you should leave the kids at home. The staff are nice, but they have been known to ask people not to bring their young children. Don't...

This Inn proved to be an absolute delight, it was our first visit for a family meal and we chose to eat in the bar, the food was excellent and the service equally so, just could not fault it. The log fire kept us warm and the atmosphere in the bar was just plain good.

We stopped at the Inn for breakfast on our way to a Christmas Market. Quaint Inn that serves the most amazing proper English breakfast. Rustic atmosphere, and quick and friendly service. Portions were generous. Overall wonderful experience. Well worth the drive from Cambridge!

Oh my God amazing food. We had the trio of fish starter, beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Great quality food. I had the chicken wrapped in bacon with sweet potatoe fries. Cooked perfect. Drinks very pricey but great place for special occasions.

Stayed at The Bull for 2 weeks while in England for work. The rooms were pretty eclectic. Fine if you're on vacation but not very useful if you need to get work done in the evenings. Electric outlets are limited in number and not conveniently located. Tip: Use the adaptor they provide or you'll continually trip the breakers! This could...

Greatly over priced food and drink, also hey hate children and don't think twice about asking you leave if your children dare raise their voices. The woman that runs his place was appalling, rude and stuck up. The man (husband?) obviously doesn't wear the trousers and was totally useless. Would never set food here again and would recommend no one...

Today we went for a lovely roast, the food was delicious. We weren't aware but the roast was a minimum of £20, whether you have the dessert or not. We ordered a lot of additional sides and out of 6, only 2 had a dessert which we had to pay extra for, because it wasn't part of the deal. We...

We stayed here again this weekend - we keep returning because this is such a great place! This time some friends of ours also stayed. The food is always delicious - freshly prepared, local produce, great menu items. The service is perfect with friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are comfortable, clean and funky! The village of Barton Mills is small and...
