I have stayed at this property a number of times and last reviewed it about two years ago. Since then the property has been sold and from what I read, "new pillows, an upgraded breakfast, and faster internet have been added". Really?? This place has gone downhill substantially since my last visit. We originally were placed in room 119, a...

Had a room with a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker & toaster. Kitchen sink and dishes (plates, bowls, cups, silverware supplied) Nice size room with king bed, 2 chairs and a built in table with 2 additional chairs. Breakfast was included and served 6-10 am with cereal, muffins, eggs, sausage "make your own waffles"--very nice. The pool and spa are...

We come to this area often and we just happened to find this property. All rooms are nice sized, have small kitchenettes, some have full kitchens. Plenty of room, clean, staff friendly, no real negatives. I think they will begin to replace carpeting and get new bedding. We liked it and will be back.

We've been here several times. It is a 70 hotel along with the furniture and structure. But it is cozy and a kitchenette is an option too. We like it because we can just cook at our leisure. We just returned from a vacation trip there and found out it has a new owner. They are expecting great changes! Staff...

Everything in this hotel is old and way outdated. The beds, carpet, shower, lights, fridge, toilet and the sinks. WAY OVER PRICED!! We found a dried up buger on the wall in the bathroom from an earlier guest (disgusting!). The sinks were clogged and the rooms were dirty (especially the bathroom). There is an oder of mildew and there was...

This place has color schemes that date from the 70s and the electrical outlets were definitely positioned prior to everyone needing to charge everything every day. You have to get on your hands and knees to crawl under tables to find places to plug things in. Very nice kitchenette and a very good breakfast every morning. The room was immaculately...

We spent there 2 nights in Oct2014. Were supposed to visit Chanell islands, but during this period there was government shutdown, so all national parks were closed. Bummer. So we spent whole day by the pool, had it for ourselves whole day. Was extremely hot weather that time. Next day we spent exploring some nearest beaches and just relaxing :)....

While she was visiting a niece in Port Hueneme, I put my mother up for 1 night at Casa Via Mar to give her a break from all the commotion. The staff was very helpful when I called with questions. Booking was done through an online booking site as I wanted to prepay. I called the office back after and...

Picked hotel for the price. $75 a night. Old outdated hotel!! Wish I spent a few more and gone to a better hotel. 1st room had no AC but had a fan. Had to open the sliding door to let fresh air in, but outside my door was a very busy road and a fast food resteraunt with a playground....

I have had extended stays twice at this hotel. Both coinciding with the change to new ownership. The hotel rooms are indeed dated, but very clean, large and functional. They have mini kitchen and full kitchen options. The new ownership has consistently been striving to improve the facility. They have revamped the complimentary breakfast and it is higher quality food....
