The room is comfortable, the shower is fine, and the table under the window big enough for writing or a meal. The great attraction is what is outside the large window and second door - a deck overlooking nothing but scenery. Lots of birds. It is an exposed location on a windy day but looking out at the lagoon valley,...

If you're looking for peace and tranquility in nature, Black Heron Inn is a wonderful solution. When the weather is blustery like it was our first day, from your room you can look out the big window at the almost 180 view of meadow, bay and hills that rest the eyes and mind. in better weather you can sit on...

We loved our three day stay at the Black Heron Inn. Mamie and Bill were lovely, helpful hosts, the room outstanding. We stayed in the room with a sleeping loft. The dinner is set in an alcove with large windows facing into a captivating view of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Tomales Bay and the mountains of Point Reyes...

We stayed for 2 nights in late May and I couldn't be more pleased with our time at the Black Heron Inn. We stayed in the Bay View room, which is one of the two first floor rooms. The other is the Ridge View room. My impression is they are identical rooms with an almost identical view. They also share...

On the edge of tiny point Reyes station (literally the last street in town) population 400, in the middle of national protected land, state parks. This little inn was amazing. Great bread. From the window you look into a federal reserve with free range cows grazing, foxes, wild turkeys, hummingbirds, quails, and deer. Best for couples that want to unwind...

We had a wonderful stay here last spring. The rooms was spacious and comfortable and the view was fabulous. We stayed in the topmost room in the building. There were other people staying there at the same time, but each set of rooms has its own entrance so it felt somewhat private. the rooms were comfortable and nicely appointed. The...

My husband and I stayed one night in the Grand View room. We enjoyed the view and the quiet night (the frogs in the nearby pond were a plus!). As many other reviewers have pointed out, the bed, bed linens, and pillows were of far less quality than you might expect. If Hampton Inn & Suites can get this right,...

We were only able to stay one night because of our schedule. We would definitely come again. Beautiful scenery . The grounds were gorgeous. Walking trails near by. We were welcomed with fresh banana bread and fruit in our room. Very welcoming and comfortable.

We decided to head to Pt Reyes at the last minute and quickly checked TripAdvisor for a B&B that would be quiet, private, and give us easy access to the area. We got exactly what we were hoping for. Booking was easy. When we arrived the owners happened to be there to greet us, but the room was completely ready...

Relaxing view from inside the room as well as the deck. Close to sights and hikes of Pt. Reyes. Appreciate that no one bothers us when we visit. Lovely room, It is all nice, that's why we go back! This is a small B&B with only 3 rooms but that makes it quiet and personal. The view of Tomales Bay...
