Efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly hosts everywhere. The room, bathroom and complimentary sundries were of exceptional quality. Complimentary water, snacks, and fresh fruit daily. This was NO continental breakfast - the finest quality lox and bagels, eggs, and fresh pastries and breads. Assorted beverages. Strolling along Main St was Americana at it's best. Well done Rose.

Access to the restaurants and shops on Main Street was one of the reasons we located downtown away from the freeways. Makes it more difficult to find us but hopefully worth the extra effort.

Don't get sticker shock when you consider staying here. Take a look at the confiscatory rates charged by very average business-class hotels in this town, and you'll understand why The Rose Hotel is one spectacular place to stay. Every aspect of this hotel is top-tier, from location to staff attitude and amenities. The free breakfast is great (tho adding scrambled...

The winding staircase, the marble floors, old phone booths, beautiful antique lighting and trays placed conscientiously all over the hotel filled with goodies for the taking. We were spoiled at the Rose Hotel. It all harkened to Downton Abbey so much I was disappointed when the front desk clerk didn't have an English accent and there were no heavy heeled...

From the moment we entered The Rose, we new that it was special. The desk clerk was so kind and helpful. The downstairs is beautiful and smelled wonderful (fresh brewed coffee). The room was lovely with a spa bath that I wish I could have at home. Bed was soo comfortable. The hotel is downtown and we were able to...

We apologize for the early wake-up call...guess the other guest didn't see our request to refrain from using the treadmill until after 7am...we're working on another solution. Other than that, it sounds like you had an enjoyable stay and hope you will return soon.

I spend one night here on business and was just blown away at the beauty, charm, quiet, and comfort at this small hotel in downtown Pleasanton. I'd never been tot he town before and expected the usual sterile high-tech options. However, this small hotel turned out to be quiet and very attractive. My room was quite large and comfortable. This was for a business trip, but I would come back here any time for a vacation. This was one of the most charming hotels I have ever stayed at. The room was great and bedding was absolutely devine. There is a wonderful breakfast included and the staff is fantastic. Not a single bad thing to say. Highly recommended.

We had the opportunity to spend several nites at this lovely hotel this past week. The rooms are large and inviting as is the huge bathroom. Our stay included a much better than average Continental Breakfast as well. If our travels ever take us this way again, we will most definitely stay here!
