Have stayed in the Queen room and a king suite and both were very nice for the price. The management was helpful and not impatient at all. I'm not sure if there has been a change of ownership, but it was fine.

This is the worst motel I have ever been to. It is so disgustingly filthy and poorly managed that you won't believe what you see in contrast to what the web pictures show. The carpet had debris, the shower curtain had lots of black stains, the chair had so much obvious sweat stains that we didn't bother to sit on it. The bathroom doesn't have any clothes hooks, which I have never heard of. You have no place to put your clothes except on the toilet cover while taking a shower. The bathroom does not have ventilation, so you have to open the window to get rid of the moisture. A repairman rushed into our room without asking for permission in the early morning while we were lying on bed, wanting to make a repair that we didn't ask for. The overall experience was just terrible. It is obvious that the owner is trying very hard to cut costs, but how much would a new shower curtain cost? I am not sure whether the owner has a very low standard of cleanness, or they are willing to risk insulting customers in order to cut costs. Either way this motel is just horrible. Stay away from it by all means!

We stayed at the Beachwalker Inn & Suites for five days. The place was absolutely filthy and a possible health hazard. The plumbing did not work in the toilet or the bathtub, furniture was broken, the floor was so dirty that our feet were black on the bottom if we were barefoot in the unit. There never seemed to be enough linen or towels available when housekeeping came by (sometimes at 4pm). It is in a convenient location, but that was the only plus to our stay. We have booked many hotels that were less expensive, but at least clean! The outside was as dirty as the inside. Unfortunately, we could not leave and find another hotel because it was a holiday weekend.

I get this was a cheaper hotel during the week, and weekends the price doubled. The location is great, walk to everything. There's a sign saying don't have your TV loud, especially after 9pm. And no guests after 9 pm. And the front desk is closed at 9pm. Yes, we could hear our neighbors' TV in our room, even though they weren't loud. So we had to turn ours on just to drown theirs out. Lots of spackling on the walls, needs to be painted. The front desk wasn't nice to us, at all. As if we made our keys not work on purpose. Not my fault if the keys don't work (twice in the same day), and not my fault if my key doesn't work at 9pm when the front desk is closed. Can't imagine if I had come in later than 9pm. No security/safety latch on the door. I tried a door stopper, didn't work. The worst is I thought I had a bad cold, coughing with lots of mucus, even though I took Sudafed during the day and Benadryl at night. As soon as I spent one night at home my symptoms have almost disappeared. I think the fan system has mold in it and caused my symptoms since I was breathing it all night. And you need the fan system either heat or AC to drown out all the noises. Since I read reviews here and some said the front desk was very nice I'm curious: were the reviews by people who actually stayed there? was the front desk profiling us and just didn't like us? I get it's a cheap hotel, I don't get the rudeness. Pay a little more and go somewhere else. I loved Pismo Beach and will probably go back, to a different hotel! Had I not had the congestion and breathing issues, I would have not reviewed this hotel, just not return. I don't want someone else to feel sick on their getaway and have my experience.

Nice room with standard amenities of free WiFi (worked well), microwave, mini fridge & coffee maker. Comfortable bed, decent cable TV menu and a small table on which to place laptop near convenient electrical outlet. Only negative is that the air conditioning didn't function all that well, with the Pismo temperature being unseasonably high the 1st two of my 4 day stay. However, opening the window in the evening cooled the room down, so it was no big problem. The last day of my stay was on the cool side, and the heat functioned acceptably. Convenient location near the city center and within walking distance of the various Pismo Beach venues of the annual Jubilee By the Sea jazz fest, the reason for my visit (2 other venues were in Arroyo Grande, but I was able to see all the bands I wanted to in Pismo, as they all do several performances over the 3 days and rotate among the various venues).
