Don't know how this hotel has so many low reviews but I'll review it as I saw it!

Room was typical US room, good size bed, bathroom with shower in bath supplied with usual bathroom amenities(shampoo, conditioner etc..). Room has a coffee machine. Situated near coffee shop, restaurants and bars and only 2 small blocks from the beach.

Also the room we were in was next to a room with a kitchen area just behind a connecting door, it was very loud but didn't disturb us after 2130.

Seen previous comment about the car park size, Yes it might be a bit tight for the large American trucks but to me they are regular size.

This is a nice motel-type place with updated rooms. Ours had a kitchenette with cupboards, a small electric hob, extractor fan and fridge, but no pots, pans or cutlery. Room was clean, beds were comfy and location was within walking distance of all the main attractions, including the pier, which was about five or ten mins away. On-site parking was a bit tight, but it was free, so can't complain. I'd stay again.

I paid about $90/night, which was one of the cheapest rates in Pismo, especially for a place just 2 blocks from the beach. I found out why it was so inexpensive because of these issues-
The room was not ready on time, and certainly not ready for the early check-in they claimed was possible.
The A/C in the room was inoperable. There was no hair drier in the room, just a plate attached to the wall where one might have been. They said my room rate didn't get me an in-room hair drier, and I had to borrow one from the office.
The walls and windows are not thick enough, so I could hear people talking next door, as hear all traffic as it passed by on PCH (Dolliver). All the rooms face the highway.
Room is very small, the in-room refrigerator and microwave were taking up the entire bottom half of the small closet and the fridge would make noise that could be heard from the bed, without a door to cover it.
Water pressure was poor and took a while to get hot. There were no hooks to hang anything in the bathroom, which is a big fail in any place close to the beach.
Television did not come with channel guide. Lots of channels, but no guide.
There were specs over all the walls and the ceiling, not sure if it was damage or food.

The motel did have a few good features- The lights on the bedside tables were new, with power ports and plugs. The overhead ceiling fan helped to cool off the room on a rare warm day.
The bed was very decent, as was the bathroom area.
The location is good, just 2 blocks from the beach and several good restaurants. I was able to easily walk to the pier, Cracked Crab and other shops. The parking is right next to the rooms and there were plenty of spaces.
The highway is not really busy, making it easy to cross when out walking.

Several of these issues one might encounter at a much more expensive hotel or rental, like the loud noise from all the motorcycles on the weekend. Considering that, if I were able to get the same room rate in the future, I might seriously consider staying here again, but will bring earplugs.

Review of Beachwalker Inn & Suites

This is the second time we stayed at this motel, and we are impressed with the hospitality of the property managers, the quality of the accommodations, and the location. I paid $20 extra for a larger king room with full kitchen and clothes closet. The room was very clean, the next door neighbors were quiet, the king bed was comfortable and the room rate with kitchen was very reasonable.

The shower had great hot water pressure and there were ample towels and toiletries.

Also, the cable TV and multiple free streaming channels worked well.

The motel is centrally located within a few min walk to downtown Pismo restaurants and bars, the Pismo pier, and the beach.

Extra bonus, its about a ten minute walk to Old West Cinnamon Rolls for warm tasty cinnamon buns and morning coffee.

We'll definitely be back and tell our friends!

We stayed here for 8 nights in room 202. We thought we would need to move hotels/rooms as the toilet was too low for my husband to easily get on/off due to a prior stroke. They were very helpful and bought a toilet adapter that had handles to accommodate him. The rooms were clean and the staff very helpful. We had a king room with kitchenette. It worked out well as I was working remotely while my husband enjoyed the beach and surrounding areas. There was a door between the bedroom and kitchen which was great for us.

We loved this place! We’ve stayed at a few places of various prices over the last week on the east coast. This was superb value for money. Check in was quick and friendly. The room was huge with incredibly comfy beds and fluffy pillows. We had a fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Bathroom was tired but clean. The shampoo dispenser was clogged but that’s easily remedied by lifting the lid and scooping out the contents! There’s a smoking area/terrace where we sat and watched the sun set over Pismo Beach. The location is brilliant, just a couple of blocks from the beachfront. Would definitely stay again.

Located close to the beach, the boardwalk and restaurants, shops and bars. Check in and checkout were seamless. Excellent place for a weekend get away. Room was spotless, beds were very comfortable and the dog fee was very reasonable

Good location, walking distance to beach and restaurants grate price. Parking a little tight and I. The shower needs better water pressure and hangers and they provided soap but it didn’t have a good smell. Other then that I would stay here again

We are a couple with 15 year old child, booked a room with 2 Queen beds for 2 nights.
We found the room spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Wifi was good. Room had AC and was comfortable and spacious.
Location was good as a short walk to Pismo town, front and many restaurants nearby.
Room was clean upon arrival. Staff at reception were helpful.
We used the pool and it was a pleasant experience, pool area was also clean and tidy.

It will be hit or miss depending on how full the lot is. We had a big truck as well and when we got there one evening there was only one small spot left, but that was late at night on 4th of July so I'm assuming the hotel was completely booked. Otherwise we had no problem swinging wide enough to get into the spot.
