We were driving from Lake Tahoe to Walnut Creek, California - when the younger members of our family became hungry. There is not a lot to offer in the mountains that we were going through, and were happy to see a sign for a snack bar/campground. The children were absolutely thrilled when we took a chance and ended up at... More

We visited our friends who were spending the summer at this great old campground. Not for the dainty, this is good, old fashioned camping at its best. Beautiful location, great water sports, neat old store, restaurant and bar. There is a community of campers that has been coming back for decades and they are a unique bunch, but friendly is... This campground is quite large and spread out. There are some campsites crammed real close together that are suitable for groups only and there are others that are well spread out. We camped in site C4 and I would have almost had a hard time throwing a football to my nearest neighbors. We drove around all of the sites and... More

A holiday trip with my family to Plasse resort. Was the most amazing experience. Haven't been back since we were kids 30 years ago and is just as beautiful as I remember. So grateful for this amazing and beautiful experience

Great location, lots of hiking, events on site, off-roading near by, great fishing. Water is plumbed to each site or near by. We love this campground and have been back several times. The biggest negative is the red dirt in late season and the end of the lake they are on starts to get dry. There is plenty of access... More

beautiful scenery - but it is like camping in Coney Island. Lots of drunks that are there on a regular basis, tiny itty bitty campsites. ATVs racing around, too many people cramped in a small area. lots of dust/dirt. On the plus side - horses are allowed, but that is the only plus. People were friendly that worked there. Resteraunt... We made a reservation a week ahead during the busy season and the staff was able to arrange a space for our tent trailer. The campground is in a beautiful area on Silver lake. the little resort had a good restaurant store and bar. The showers were nice and hot! If you are horse camping they have a great set... More
