It's close to Interstate 8, but you'd never know it because it's so quiet. My room had a mini-fridge, microwave, reasonably fast wi-fi, and more, so I had what I wanted. The bed had a thick memory foam topper that took some getting used to, but I slept soundly. The light bulbs over the bathroom sink were not working and...

About the only lodging choice in Pine Valley, this is a bare bones motel with all the essential requirements for a pleasant visit to the Southern California mountains. The rooms are reasonably priced for the area at $70/weeknight & $80/night for Fri & Sat, plus tax. No breakfast is offered and room did not have coffee maker (available on request),...

I stayed at this hotel and small town for two weeks. The staff were very nice and friendly. Weekly rate was great for a place not far from Alpine, El Cajon, and San Diego. Morning coffee and some friendly chats with the staff and other guests were pleasant with the fresh air and surrounding mountains. Nice, friendly staff and excellent...

It works. Friendly staff. Nothing fancy, but it was clean. Room had a fridge, microwave, king bed and TV. Non smoking room was basic. This place is only 20 minute drive to Laguna Meadows. Great place to chill after shuttling Noble Canyon from Burnt Rancheria Campground.

More than adequate for the price......walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The owner was very nice and helpful in giving advice and directions....the town is very small but the facility was perfectly located with scenic surroundings......

This is the only hotel within 15 minutes of Barrett Lake. I fish there once or twice a year and so I always stay at this hotel. There is nothing else around. The rooms are fairly clean and the beds are comfortable. It's also very cheap and like I said convenient for us when fishing. The town is pretty cool...

After a long drive we discovered this little gem. The price was about right, the room was very clean, and exceptionally large. Wonderful views, with a very woodsy feel. They are pet friendly at no extra cost. WiFi was easy, and pleasantly fast. Right next door was a mini grocery store that had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly...

Let's start with the basics, this is a low price hotel, you're not going to get many extras for your money. But what you do get is a great package. For your money you'll get a nice, yet simply furnished clean room, freindly staff, TV, fairly quick Internet, en suite facilities, great views of the valley, and one of the...
