We recently stayed at the Hotel Coeval for two nights. The staff, including the "smores waiter" could not be more accommodating. The front desk arranged a picnic lunch for us. The ambiance is terrific with the outdoor seating in the Pony Club and the courtyard with fireplaces. The breakfast were top notch. The rooms were very nice, but with the...

We stayed for three nights during Thanksgiving 2016. The entire stay was wonderful, all the staff was helpful and offered to help every time we interacted. When you go to the Ritz or the Biltmore, you know there is elegance, but also a little snooty. Here there is elegance and NO snobbish. It wasn't raining, but they had four fireplaces...

First vacay to Paso Robles...now I know what I've been missing. The amazing Hotel Cheval is a mere block away from the very trendy Downtown PR (great restaurants, fun shops, generous wine tasting rooms and lively bars) but you feel as though you are in a swanky, secluded getaway. HC is as perfect as a hotel could be! The gracious...

One o the few places I have stayed in my travels that hit on about everything we could think of for a great place to stay. The French villa experience lives up to its reputation. The people are beyond accommodating. The attention to detail in every aspect is evident. While pricey, it lives up to the price. Starting with the...

We stayed in Paso Robles more than a dozen times in well over a decade. We've stayed on the East side, the West side and in town. In our view, Paso is best experienced by hiring a driver (available to drive your car) or hiring a car to tour the wineries and then returning to the town square. Just off...

The Hotel Cheval has a great front patio area where the regularly have music and often serve flights of local wines. A beautiful way to have a relaxing evening. The music is typically by local artists. Seating under the oak tree is very comfortable.

Dear paso57, Thank you so much for taking the time to review our property. I am so glad you enjoyed the Pony Club. We are so lucky to have such talented local musicians. You get what you pay for. Yes this is a more expensive choice... but if you want professional, discreet service, outstanding ambiance and a killer breakfast of quality items then make Cheval your selection. We cannot find any fault here and the room was immaculate. Hope to return for our anniversary!

Stayed here three times, with consistent notes. Super cute, super high quality, walking distance to most of Paso, and fifteen minutes or less to most of the wineries. We've brought other people and everyone agrees! #ponyclub

Hotel Cheval is an amazing find. Barbara goes out of her way to welcome you and inform you on everything from wine country, area travel, and restaurants. The rooms are unique, spotless, and the bed is so comfortable and plush. End your evening by the fire with s'mores made by your personal S'morelier! I can't say enough good things about this hotel....
