Great quaint location and at a reasonable price. Very friendly staff. I forgot to show my AAA card and probably could have saved some money though....I could see staying here again when in this great little town.

Although the Melody Ranch sounds like it should be in Nevada out on Hwy. 95, this is a great, family-run motel. The owner offered to get us from the Amtrak station to the motel (although it was only a 4-block walk) if we needed it. He checked us in - said it was the 52nd year of his family's ownership....

Meoldy Ranch is an old style motor lodge with about 20 rooms. While old, it has been maintained very well with some upgrades such as modern flat screen TVs. The front desk is run by the family that owns the hotel, and they are very nice. As I was coming back late, they let me check-in at noon. The good...

Upon check in, the front desk lady asked if we had a AAA card. She knocked off about $23 more dollars off an already reasonable rate for Paso Robles. We stayed in room number 8. The room is an older room with old school bedspreads. Our room had two beds since that is all that was available. Everything in the...

It's retro...OK...maybe a little funky, but I love funky, and finding a large, comfy room a block off the Paso Robles square for this price! What more could you ask for...how about spotlessly clean, not just the room but the whole place? How about being treated like a cherished friend? It's got it all! Melody Ranch is in the second...

Very old but clean motel. There are no amenities. Thin small bar soap. Shampoo in little packets. We brought our own. There are only 2 outlets in the room area and one in the bathroom. They are all 2 prong outlets so we brought adapters, and a power strip for all our phones and other things. Beds are comfortable. In a...

Melody Ranch is charming and lovely. If you need a chain hotel, this isn't it, but we will have far more good memories of staying here. The value is good, it reminds one of simpler times, the staff is friendly and helpful, and we really loved everything about it.

Older but very clean room with minimum traffic noise. If you plan to spend most of your time in your room go some place else. However, if you plan to spend your time visiting the local wineries great local stores and restaurants this is the place to stay. The money you save will buy you a nice bottle of local...

We have stayed at the Melody Ranch for many years and find it a great bargain in a somewhat expensive Paso Robles. The location is perfect and the rooms a clean and quiet. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. If you like 1950's motel ambiance, this is the place! Of course with the modern amenities like Wi-Fi!

This is a very nice place to stay. It was very clean and comfortable and quiet. Everyone of the staff that we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. I will be sure to stay here again if in Paso Robles.
