I stayed here recently on a business trip. For the price, the room was small and outdated. There was also some noise that sounded like a heating/cooling system cycling on and off. This would not be one of my top choices for hotels in Palo Alto. However, the location is great and staff were helpful.

I am used to hotels in silicon valley being expensive, so the $259/night price tag for a noisy room with a dirty carpet and a dysfunctional elevator can be excused. However, I find it unacceptable that besides charging a fee for slow internet access, the hotel also blocks out VPN and Skype access. I am counting on this to stay...

Dear ProfNo, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn...

It is so interesting how reviews can vary so incredibly based upon one little element like bad check in or a chip in the door, and I have certainly written those reviews! We all have different requirements, different elements that make us happy or turn us off. I am learning to share the 'experience' rather than the potential small elements...

This cavernous hotel in Palo Alto isn't a bad place to stay, but I think I'll do the Westin next door next time. At check-in, I was barely able to understand the gentleman checking me in and giving me directions to the winding hallways that access the rooms. My room was quiet, but a co-worker had a room closer to...

***SPG Gold*** Stayed here for four nights and it was a mixed bag. The hotel is typical of many older Sheratons with the standard branding and amenities and looking a little long in the tooth. The building you enter with the front desk only contains function rooms and the bar/restaurant. To get to the guest rooms, you need to walk...

I've stayed at this property numerous times, and the times I was in a Club room it was acceptable, as the room seemed a bit bigger and access to the Club for a quick breakfast and water/juice/soda made up for the fragmented layout of the property. My last visit I was in a regular room and it was extremely tight,...

I have been staying at the Courtyard Marriott and recently picked up visitors who were staying at the Sheraton. I was very impressed by the facility and the staff. Definitely gets a younger, vibrant crowd since it's across the street from Stanford. I immediately booked my monthly trips to then stay at the Sheraton.

Chose this hotel because it is close to Stanford University. After working there for 37 years, my husband just retired from there. The Sheraton catered his party of 135 guests and the buffet was DELICIOUS with a variety of dishes for all palettes! Many guests had traveled across the country to attend this event. Our entire family stayed at the...

Our room overlooked the Koi pond with fountains and lots of greenery. You really felt like you were "away from it all' yet you could walk into town. The staff were friendly, especially the bar staff. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed in a club room for four nights having landed from London on business Asked for a nice quiet room and to be fair it was ...... except for the noise coming from other peoples air con units running all evening but what can you do? A few 'loud speaking' guests could be heard but i haven't ever stayed anywhere...
