First night our AC did not work. They sent an on-site employee to look at it and he tried to fix it. It was not fixed and we were switched to a new room with working AC. Loud construction in the morning woke us up. The pool temperature was way too warm for how hot it was and it was not refreshing at all. The misters by the pool lounge beds saved us. With all of this being said, the on-site staff and bar employees were all very nice and helpful.

I'll begin by saying the price I paid for two weekday nights was good, but the main reasons I chose to have a quick midweek getaway from LA was to relax in a nice modern room with AC, and lounge in and by the pool. However, the air conditioning unit is inadequate for the heat in Palm Springs. It was about 106-108 in the daytime and we had an upstairs unit, so I can't imagine what the room feels like when it's in the 110's. It was difficult to sleep at night not only because the room never cooled down, the ac unit itself was really loud. The vents were caked with dust and grime and blew cold air, but it just wasn't enough to make the room cold. The bathroom is also not air conditioned and remains very stuffy and hot, which makes for unpleasant bathroom trips whether you're showering or doing other business in there. Malin+Goetz products were nice though. The pool, while nice to look at, was warm like bath water. It wasn't refreshing by any means and looked murky, despite there not being that many guests using it. Food was delicious though. There was another pool that was out of order. Two more small annoyances was the design of the shower. It's a nice walk in shower, but the glass that blocks water from splashing out is too short, so even when you stand as close as possible to the shower head, you still end up with a puddle of water in front of the toilet which sits right next to the shower. Lastly, the TV volume does not go loud enough to hear over the AC, which I understand is probably a courtesy to other guests in adjacent rooms. Overall it was not a very pleasant stay given that the basic amenities I went for, were unsatisfactory. However, price on the weekday was good and there is no resort fee, and parking is free, but there was a lot of construction going on and just did not feel like the property was ready for guests. The lack of staff also made the hotel seem somewhat unsafe since a lot of people came in and out of the pool area, getting loud and drunk, and there is no one except one disinterested bartender in the entire pool area. The idea of everything working through the ap was somewhat seamless, but I would rather have a keycard instead of touching keypads in order to open all access gates and doors. Overall it would have been a good stay if the pool was colder and the AC worked better. All the other issues I can overlook maybe due to lack of staff, but it was a little more distressing than relaxing this time.

We had a great experience. The room was nice and clean, loved the size of the bathroom. The pool had great accommodations with bar and DJ. The best surprise was the restaurant The food was really good.…. Wouldn’t have known it existed had we not taken a walk in the evening. Shush there was room service!

Sonder at V Palm Springs is the perfect stay for a weekend away. I loved not having to check in at a front desk and being able to go straight to the room, making the check in process SO easy. The room is decorated in a trendy modern style and the beds are very comfy. The pool area has so many seats with shade. If you are above the age of 21 make sure to try the blood orange margaritas. The bar staff were so welcoming and nice. Lastly, the location is walking distance to a decent amount of restaurants and a short drive to down town Palm Springs. I had the pleasure of staying at the V Palm Springs with a couple girlfriends and definitely plan on coming back soon!

Had an incredible time at The V by Sonder. The Sonder process was super easy! The rooms were wonderful, with little balconies that looked over the pool and the most precious hanging chairs. The pool was perfect and the pool bar had incredible drinks. Also the hotel was walking distance to some adorable restaurants and coffee shops which was a major plus. Definitely worth a stay either for friends or couples!
