Peaceful, tranquil, oasis. I was only there for one night so didn't have a chance to make full use but it was quite amazing. Wish I could of stayed longer,

the hosts at Desert Riveria in Palm Springs are the absolute greatest! the rooms and pool area are exactly what Palm Springs is all about and so close to the old Palm Springs Village you can walk or ride a bike there. don't change a thing.

The Desert Riviera is a very nice property, very well maintained with extra touches at a very affordable price point ($150-$200) per night. The common areas in particular are very inviting, the pool, the firepit, free coffee every morning. Lovely landscaping, complete with resident hummingbirds. We enjoyed our stay very much, including figuring out all the connections between everyone involved...

Despite spending a large part of my life travelling, I have never before took the time to write a review, but Larry and his staff deserve this praise. The quality of the hotel, from the rooms through to the warmness of the staff that have the good fortune to work there is most impressive. Despite the intimacy of the hotel,...

This is a great spot. It feels like you are staying at a good friend's private residence. The owners and staff are super friendly, called us by name when we arrived and handed us a glass of wine. Rooms are nice and clean, well appointed and come with free goodies and snacks. This property is very well kept and has...

(I'm somewhat reluctant to rate this hotel, as I do not want this place to always be booked if I need a reservation!) However, in the past when in Palm Springs, I've stayed at the (old) Riviera Resort and the Wyndham, both "old" and renovated (preferred the "old"). My experience at this hotel surpassed all my past Palm Springs lodging...

We started going to Desert Riviera when it first opened. We were skeptical thinking one day it would simply slide into reputation mode and not pay attention to the nuances which makes it an excellent choice in Palm Springs. We're delighted to report that's not the case. We spent another Christmas holiday at Desert Riviera. Our days include meeting other...

This is a really nice spot and the service is fantastic. They give you a free glass of wine and free snacks/water in the room, which opens up a bigger question: these little things go a long way...why are big hotels/airlines, etc. always trying to nickel and dime you? Given the cost is really so low to give someone free...

This was our first trip to Palm Springs and we couldn't have picked a better place than the Desert Riviera. It was our own little oasis in the middle of paradise. We've stayed everywhere from upscale resorts to small B&Bs and this property had a charm all its own. It's the little things that really added up-- the intimate setting,...
