The Orbit In (yep, there's only one "N") is fantastic. Here's why: 1. The location. It's less than three blocks from downtown Palm Springs. So you can walk to all the shops, museums, and restaurants. Having said that, it's extremely quiet. 2. The hotel itself. It's a mid-century modern motel, restored and refurbished with impeccable levels of comfort, taste, and...

There is a reason 99.9% of the reviews are good - this is a very hip, adult spot in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in PS. Super friendly and enthusiastic staff makes for a great vibe. Each room is different, ask for descriptions. International flavor with lots of return visitors. Nice continental breakfast and and really cool happy hour...

From the moment we were greeted at the Orbit In- it just happened to be "Orbitini Hour"- we felt welcomed, pampered, and were treated like very special guests. This hotel is a mid-century modern lover's nirvana! The rooms are appropriately decorated, complete with record-players and a vast selection of albums. Furniture was very comfortable and the kitchenette came in handy....

We adore Orbit In and stay here every chance we get. We've even started coming to Palm Springs at times other than our annual Modernism Week trek in order to stay at our home away from home. What's not to love? Preserved mid-century boutique hotel, owners and staff you know by name and greet with a hug, daily Orbitini hour...

My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Orbit In Hotel. We stayed for 3 days/2 nights in February 2017, and found the accommodations and staff to be top notch. The amenities, from breakfast, to happy hour, to 24/7 beverage bar, etc., were all most appreciated. The inn is close to the main street, should you wish to...

If you want a quaint, retro boutique hotel, then the Orbit In is the place to stay! The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere has a fun retro vibe. The rooms are very quiet and peaceful. Plus, you can miss the complimentary happy hour...make sure to order their Orbitini! Yum!

I can't say enough good things. The hotel is small, small but stylish pool area, a great intimate cocktail hour with trademark "Orbitinis". The personal nature of staff looms large here. I stayed in the smallest room, which was very nice and authentic to MCM period. Very quiet and clean. Pool is heated and a small jacuzzi is privately tucked...

There are so many great boutique hotels in Palm Springs that it is hard to stand out over some. We loved our sizeable room, the retro decor including the pink bathroom, the beautiful pool, the very friendly service and the breakfasts available around the pool.

My wife really ribbed me about booking at this hotel, but it was outstanding. "Mid-century architecture" seemed like the "Jetsons" without jet packs. It couldn't have been a more relaxing place to stay for a week and I haven't spent so much time in a pool without swimming laps since I was in my teens. The hosts were accommodating and...

I travel a lot and prefer nice hotels. This was wonderful. Bed super comfy. Step back in time for design, but all super clean and cool. Loved having a room look out on the pool patio..small boutique hotel and fun to meet the few people lucky enough to have a room. Great location to walk. And Bill, owner and manager,...
