Horrible paid extra for a vacation! and they don’t give me the room I paid for? Ground level hearing running while sleep at 7am this is the worst vacation ever! The bedrooms have no A/C never stay here again a especially if you aren’t white the front desk will treat you like nothing… very sad world we live in Evan is the worst manager with the worst attitude, surprised he is a manager and who trained him
We spent Sunday - Thursday at this resort. It was wonderful, Upon booking we requested a walk out to a pool and we were given an amazing corner unit across the street from the Mesquite pool in building 682. This 2 bedroom unit was HUGE! It was so clean and the perfect location. Our first day we spent lounging by the pool, there were very few people there. We even door dashed food right to the pool from a great little place called Rubios. That nite we had sushi at Joyces in Palm Desert. It was awesome! Tuesday we went to the Palmeras pool. Our friends said it would be really busy. We didn't find that to be the case. In fact we strolled in at 9am and found almost all the loungers unoccupied. We met great people, enjoyed Drinks and lunch thanks to our server Letty! The water was perfect, there are plenty of umbrellas and shade if you prefer. Later that afternoon we headed to the outlet mall and then to Johnny Costa's. It was some of the best Italian food we've eaten this side of New York. Highly recommend. Wednesday we headed to the JW Marriott pool. Spent the day in an empty pool on the side floating with a few friends Ruben was an awesome pool server! That evening we headed to Cactus Jacks for Prime rib. This was an amazing dinner. Love that restaurant! Thursday we checked out via express and we were on our way home! We will definitely be back. It was a great time, easy resort to get around, fun people and a lovely villa! Highly recommend!…
The room was generally clean and comfortable, but the little things just weren't kept up (see photos). A king room with a sofa bed should have more than 2 place settings. Having to walk all the way to the pool to get ice is also a pain. At least the ice bucket fit in the freezer section of the bar refrigerator. Also, the only eating area was on the patio. No coffee table or anything that could be used as a table for eating unless you use the small desk.
The staff wanted us to wait until 6 for our room when check in is at 4, we took over an hour checking in because they had no rooms available. The room was okay, Our showers drain had issues. We found popsicle sticks inside the pullout, the blankets did not seem clean. The pools were pretty dirty and the pool bars close way too early. Would not recommend.
My friends and I stayed here for a weekend while we were attending Coachella Music Festival. The first night of the festival we came back to find our personal belongings (luggage, purse, wallets, tech items, clothes, makeup) all gone. The back door patio was busted wide open and a few of our luggages was thrown over the patio and onto the grass. Immediately, we called hotel security. When they arrived, they immediately blamed the situation on us. I didn’t catch his name but he said “Alright who left the back door open?”. You would think an employee of Marriott would be more respectful to their guests. However, as we were showing security the door that showed signs of forced entry, they began to touch the doors and mess around with it. They even discussed amongst themselves and agreed that the door was tampered with. We called the cops and the sheriff came to take our statements and dust for fingerprints. However, any chance of getting a solid fingerprint was diminished because hotel security tampered with it. The sheriff questioned hotel security for any cameras in the area and they said that there are no cameras present. What kind of hotel has no cameras on site? Is this the level of security and protection that we pay for? After the incident, the hotel did not provide a follow up or did not even reach out to us to check in on us or give us a new room. They just went on as if nothing happened on their property. In fact, they had a due diligence to provide us immediately with a claim number so that we may file our lost items with insurance. We tried calling their front desk many times throughout the weekend and not once did they pick up. It wasn’t until we checked out and demanded to speak with the manager that they finally gave us a claim number. One thing to note, when we spoke to the guest relations manager he informed us that these things happen quite often on their property and according to their hotel policy, they are just not liable for it. So basically if someone broke into your hotel room with clear signs of forced entry, they won’t do anything for you. If you look at reviews on Yelp and TrustPilot you’ll see that there are many other guests who have experienced the same issue in the past. It’s unfortunate that the hotel still hasn’t taken any steps to address this common issue. I will highly suggest that you DO NOT BOOK this hotel. You will find better options in the area that actually value their guests’ safety. Safe to say, I am no longer a Marriott customer.…
