We stayed here a few days last month. It is a beautiful place to stay. The grounds are immaculate. The only thing they could improve on is the walking trails...they don't connect. The rooms are high quality and easy to access and the views from the balcony are amazing with the mountains in the west.

We spent several days at this wonderful resort. A relative had arranged for us to stay in a one bedroom suite with full kitchen, dining room and large living room. It was great in every respect. This large resort with terrific tennis venues [including clay courts] was impeccably maintained by very cheerful and competent staff [ the whole lot: grounds...

This is a 50s era small resort that has been remodeled / redecorated Pros: - Great value for the area which can be pricey in the winter - Excellent, very helpful staff - Bed had a good, firm mattress. - Rooms come with a kitchenette and while not fancy were clean and attractive Cons - Does not come with some...

Thank you for visiting Shadow Mountain. The resort was built in 1946 and condos came years later, all individually owned. We are quite different, but many return year after year for our huge figure-8 pool and 16 tennis courts, and of course location. We appreciate you giving us a try and look forward to your return!

The office staff is very accommodating and friendly. The grounds are well kept, although using chainsaws at 7am is a bit too early for us. The pool is very large, but the pool deck is in need of maintenance. The hot tub (at the main pool) was well used during the cold December evenings. Our room 164 is dated and...

We stayed here while in town for a family event, and the resort offered things to do for all family members. The pool areas were fantastic, with splash parks, wading areas, and plenty of seating areas. There were decent food options available, but only for part of the day. Most dining facilities were only open for short hours. There is...

Hi there, I believe you have Shadow Mountain Resort confused for Marriott Shadow Ridge, both in Palm Desert, CA. Hopeful you and your family enjoyed our city over the holidays, one of my favorite times of the year with festive El Paseo Blvd decorations and more. Look us up sometime as we are very family friendly and walking distance to...

We've stayed at this hotel for the past several years for a tennis camp that was organized by our coach in Seattle. We've had a variety of rooms and even the ones that have been renovated are still very run-down and not up to the El Paseo area standards. The restaurant food is fair but service is slow and the...

I stayed here during a business trip, and found it perfect for my needs. A 600 sqft studio king with a kitchen, dining area, and patio next to a creek (man-made yet pleasant nonetheless). I had a place work in a quiet environment, yet was close to El Paseo for my lunch meeting. I will certainly stay here again when...

This is a large condo-rental resort.. Low key sprawling facility with a variety of units and condos.. When we checked in and were given a large condo unit, which looked like it was last decorated at some time in the 70's.. It felt almost creepy, with old, dated and tacky looking furnishings.. We then called front desk and got moved...

Thank you for your candid comments. I'm glad we were able to change rooms for you, but regret the first condo was not up to our normal standards. It's unusual to have a room that does not meet our requirements as we require that the owners keep up the furnishings, etc. Since I can't determine which room you were in,...
