Have stayed at lots of Ski Resorts and this is up there with our favourite (Schweitzer White Pine Lodge). The Lodge is under the Aerial Tram, which is an amazing sight, and it is truly a ski in ski out location when there is snow (we got very lucky and it dumped). Our family stayed in a 2 bedroom Condo...

Thank you for your review of Squaw Valley Lodge. We are pleased you enjoyed our ski-in/ski-out accommodations, and well-appointed two bedroom condo. How fun that you were able to enjoy new snow during your stay as well! In the future, please do not hesitate to contact our Guest Services staff if you suspect something wrong with the heating in our...

Stayed at Squaw Valley lodge for 4 nights in January in an open plan studio appartment on the second floor, facing the mountain. The good things about our stay were - 1. Free parking which was also covered 2. Excellent check in, quick and informative 3. Proximity to the Gondolas and squaw village ( 3 minute walk ) 4. Cleanliness,...

Last fall I purchased a great deal to stay at the SVL - 40% off, which still kept the rates at almost $400 a night for a studio loft with 2 bathrooms. Is it worth it? If what you want is location and ease of getting to the mountain then yes - it is great for that and that is...

We are pleased you enjoyed your visit, and the ease of our ski-in/ski-out location. We all work to provide a great experience for our guests. Therefore, we are very sorry you had issues with your sleeping arrangements and the comfort of the sleep sofa. Since then, the sleep sofa mechanism and mattress have been replaced. We will undertake a full...

From Sue who helped us book our last minute rooms to the helpful front desk and beyond perfect location this is the place to stay. I am tempted not to give away this jewel but they are just to great not to get recognized. Not fancy but perfect for those who love easy access to the mountain and a great...

We stayed here for 5 nights right after Christmas. It was wonderful! We stayed in a loft that was spacious and clean. There are several jacuzzis on the property, a pool, and it is so close to the lifts, village and gondola. I especially loved the 'green' bath product BeeKind! I loved the lotion, shampoo and the fact they were...

Good sized room (Deluxe Studio Suite was big enough for 2 plus 3 young children). Perfect location next to slopes and village. Plenty of hot tubs for after ski. Parking garages were full but we found spots. Staff was great.

I stayed here for one night in the early season. It is in a great location and is in walking distance to lifts and you could technically throw your skis on and ski out of the property. It is very close to the village where you can find many resturants, bars and stores. The property has a nice sauna and...

We go to Tahoe at least twice a year. We've made our rounds of various hotels in north and south lake tahoe, until we stayed at SVL. Now it's our favorite place to stay at in tahoe. The deluxe studios are comfortable for 2 people. Having the kitchenette is great. No onsite restaurant, but the village is right outside the...

Beautiful Setting, Good Price and Helpful and Caring Staff I cannot say enough about this facility. Great Pool and Sauna and Exercise room as well. Close to shops and dining . We will be back !!! The only slight drawback was that was not food available on site - but that is minor. The rooms were spacious and relaxing.

Squaw valley is beautiful, cycling and rafting are superb, the lodge accommodation is great. BUT we did have a few gripes with our room that soured the stay a little, and made us question whether we'll return. That said, I think it's still pretty good VFM and a great place for a family holiday.
