Well maintained property. The staff was pleasant and exceedingly helpful. Of course the slope side location near the Red Dog lift was great. The ski lockers are a nice touch. While it did not snow on this trip, having garage parking is always welcome.

Great slopeside location, convenient to Olympic Village for dinner. Clean outdoor hot tubs with a nice view of the mountain after skiing. Rooms are maintained well, somewhat dated, well equipped for cooking breakfast. Intimate, private - couples and families, quiet at night. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Free laundry on each floor is great for ski gear and...

We spent a week here and while the weather didn't always cooperate this was a great place to stay. Our studio unit was very well equipped, very comfy bed, plush towels, good furnishings. There are daily activities planned and solid amenities offered. The hot tubs were nice and hot, gym was limited (3 machines, no weights) but functioned well. There...

This place is so close to the mountain that you can ski right up to the gate . If there was more snow and no gate, it could be ski in/ski out but I would just call it ski in. The lifts are about 100 meter walk. The bed is super comfortable. The full kitchen is great for families that...

We had a 1 bed time share we had traded into Interval. Personally, I'm not a fan of Interval and find it hard getting places, but we got this 1 bed in Tahoe during Thanksgiving and so we decided to do it. The reviews were good and all in all we are very happy. You are right at Squaw so...

Hello Folks from Red Wolf Lodge at Squaw Valley. Were planning to stay in your property for the week Mar 29- Apr 5, 2015. Can you guys give me a heads up on what activities we can do during this time ( Im with my family). What weather do we expect for that week? What types of clothes do we need to prepare to feel comfortable as we go around the localities and cities that surround Lake Tahoe? Ill itemize my other queries here:

1. Were coming from Fairfield, CA and were renting a minivan, Do we need snow tires during this time of the year? We will be renting the van for 2 or more weeks, as we are venturing on a long road trip (with 2 or 3 1-2 day stopovers) from Olympic valley to San Diego.

2. This will be our first time to live in a ski resort. We dont ski and we dont have any bit of experience. What sort of activity can we do if it is totally unfamiliar to us?

3. What sort of seasonal activities/festivals/ events are expected in the surrounding areas of Olympic Valley, incl Incline Village, Tahoe City, Tahoe Vista, Stateline Nevada, Zephyr cove and south lake tahoe? Is it also worth to visit Reno?

4. Are there nearby convenient stores, supermarkets or even marketplace in Olympic valley? You may call us Mall rats, but my children's pastime is visiting and hanging out in malls. is there any nearby?

5. Are your outdoor pools heated? If not, do you have indoor pools that are heated? We dont have much body insulation (all of us are slender) and my kids are scared stiff of the idea of swimming in early spring cold weather.

Well, thats about all the things I need to ask. When something comes to mind, Ill come back. Thanks Guys in advance for your response, In the meantime, pls allow me to greet our future hosts a very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous and Fulfilling New Year!
