The beginner trails are on the top of the mountain so as you learn to ski the view is beautiful!!! My instructor was so patient and good at teaching. The staff was very helpful and quick with getting me equipped. They have what seems to be a very smooth running system.

The views of Lake Tahoe at the top of Squaw Valley really are breath taking. I guess it probably does make it a little easier to learn with a view like that. Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your experience up on the mountain. It seems that the lessons went quite well so I hope...

Great skiing, not too crowded and lots of different trails/terrain. Tram and lifts were excellent and restaurants were great. Staff was very friendly and helpful and it was easy and quick to get to from Reno.

My daughter & I took a two night trip to ski at Squaw Valley & we stayed in The Village! We've stayed here about 10 times and the location is ideal! We never have to drive anywhere because it has everything we need..world class skiing, great restaurants and shops & friendly staff. My only complaint is that the rooms are...

Ever get asked the same question over and over again and feel the temptation to answer with a short, snippy reply? Well, we asked and asked again weather related questions to the staff when I80 was closed for a day and a half and they could not have been more helpful or patient. In every aspect of our stay the...

When i80 is closed it can definitely be quite nerve racking and challenging for our guest so we completely understand. With this record snow fall this year we have been dealing with road closures more than ever. But I am happy to see that you enjoyed your overall stay at The Village at Squaw Valley. We look forward to having...

We stayed 2 nights in the Village at Squaw Valley, which is a series of 5 buildings which make up the shops in Squaw Village. We were in Building 2 which is literally directly across from the tram and ticket center. We had a one bedroom suite which was nicely appointment with a living room (sofa bed with linen in...

Nice but small bedroom. Realize mountain view also means you might hear the cats grooming at night. It isn't bad though. Location is awesome!! Ski locker available. Parking is underground-a big plus! Staff is super friendly

Both of these resorts offer great terrain and an overall wonderful resort experience. The staff is always super friendly and the accommodations are the best! The equipment is kept in top condition and the resorts are a pleasant break from daily life.

We would have loved staying here if it weren't for the extremely loud snow plows that started around 1:00 am and continued all night for the three nights of our stay. The resort provides free earplugs for the asking, but even they weren't enough. Did I mention how loud the plows are? Also, our unit on the top floor had...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your most recent experience because our guest feedback is always appreciated. Unfortunately, the snow plows cause frustration with our guest quite often. The snow plows have to operate during those hours to ensure the safety of our guest and employees for the next day. I apologize that it was...

I started skiing this season, and Squaw/Alpine have been my favorite. Despite the crowded parking lot, I always have a good time, and the lines are never too bad as long as there aren't many lift closures.
