Sierra Sky Ranch is a beautiful property with two very helpful employees, but it did not meet our expectations, especially given the price. The property seems to have some administrative/management issues. Although Summer and Ashley were very accommodating and willing to offer help and suggestions, we were disappointed in a few things. 1) The pool was out of order, which...

Once a TB therapeutic retreat on a cattle ranch. Now remodelled it still has a traditional timber lodge feel with comfortable upgrades to the rooms and bathrooms. Beds linens wood floors are all great and sleeping is quiet with screened windows so no need for AC. Breakfast can be taken on the terrace outside the room. It's just a 15...

I took my grandsons to Yosemite and we stayed at Sierra Sky Ranch. The modernized historic ranch house made a memorable location to stay. My daughter and her husband had one room and my wife and I kept the grandsons with us. Our room was quiet, modern, well appointed and convenient to our van. The continental was fresh and lots...

Our room was exactly what we were hoping for. The style and the decor are a perfect match for the area and type of trip we were on. The kids even loved the room and the grounds! Not your typical hotel and that's what made it great!

Unfortunately not worth the 250usd/night price. Room was clean and comfortable but had no furniture besides the bed and TV. Continental bf was sparse and they ran out of muffins. Ashley did her best and was very nice but this property hasn't been open that long and needs to raise the bar a little if they hope to remain viable.

The hotel was recently remodeled and they did a fine job with the structure they had. The decor was great and the location was beautiful. We can't say enough good things about the staff, especially Summer, who went out of her way to be helpful. Great porch outside every room. The downside is that the rooms were tiny. They also...

Looking for a new experience then this is definitely the place to go. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. The best part for us were the desserts. Cheesecake and Creme Brulee, yummy! The beautiful surroundings make for a very enjoyable evening.

This former ranch (among other things it has been used for) has been beautifully restored. The entry and the dining room are really pretty and the rooms are spectacular. Each room had inside entry, but also opened out to a veranda. Very comfortable bed. Continental breakfast of really good muffins, fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee, which was perfect for us.

Beautiful ranch hotel located just East of Oakhurst. A short drive to town, or to Yosemite Parquk entrance. Beautifully appointed guest rooms, very recently remodeled. Wonderful main entrance, sitting area, with original wood ceilings and walls. Continental breakfast was satisfying enough to set us off on our visit to Yosemite. Returned after dark, sat in the main room, enjoying tea...

Nice clean rooms, enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset from the patio. About 45 to 50 minutes to Yosemite, Bass Lake is 15 to minutes depending on how aggressive you drive. Breakfast is okay, suffice to get you by but if you are planning on all day hiking you should stop by elsewhere to load up.
