First of all I'll give myself a pat on the back for choosing A Bed of Roses for our group of 8 to stay for a couple of nights on our way to Lake Tahoe. More importantly huge pats on the back to Mary Kay and Steve who own and manage A Bed of Roses. More welcoming and accommodating hosts...

My daughter and I stayed here after a day in the park, it's nicely located outside of the chaos and I think you save $$ by not staying inside the gates. It is hidden up a hill not quite to town which is very quiet. The hosts were wonderfully sweet and easy going, very down to earth. The room "Wild...

We took our twins for a West Coast family trip for their graduation from high school. Mary Kay and Steve were incredible hosts who not only served up outstanding breakfast, but also gave us excellent insight into navigating Yosemite. Our room was more than spacious for the four of us and the large bathroom with 2 sinks made it easy...

This was our first experience of a B&B in the US and we certainly hope it will not be our last. We stayed in the Country Rose room, very comfortable with its own patio - unfortunately I did not get to experience the huge jacuzzi tub as California was under severe drought conditions and I would have felt very guilty,...

My wife and I attended a wedding near Yosemite and stayed in the Garden Rose room at A Bed of Roses. While we are both seasoned travelers and are pros at the large chain hotel experience, we haven't stayed at many B&Bs in our years of travel. A Bed of Roses will be the gold standard for any future B&B...

We stayed in the Red Rose room for 4 nights. It is a large, bright room - very comfortable. The bed is massive, and there is a sofa and two armchairs. The refrigerator was useful as was the Keurig coffee maker. We enjoyed evenings on the private deck overlooking the forest. The swimming pool was a bonus, although still chilly...

A friend and I stayed at Bed of Roses B&B home and we absolutely loved it! The property was conveniently located in proximity to Mariposa Grove and to the main entrance of the park. The BnB is very quiet and we slept very well. Our hosts were fantastic, providing us with great tips for dinner options in town, hiking trails...

I wanted to find a small hotel close to Yosemite National Park, which wasn't that easy. I also looked under "gay friendly" and found this one that was described as "gay owned". After booking I read it wasn't gay-owned anymore, so we hoped for the best. I booked the smallest of four rooms, since they were all quite pricy, and...

We arrived very late at night and the house was open with our door unlocked. Until the next morning we could not see the lovely views from our room but we were rewarded with spectacular mountains on three sides. We stayed in the Garden Rose and the picture in the brochure is accurate. And even if you decide to lie...
