My husband & I discovered the family owned Newport Channel Inn a few years ago and this is our third stay here. It is a wonderful home base in a great location off the Pacific Coast Highway. The rooms are clean & comfortable. Boogie boards, beach towels & beach chairs (supply & demand) are available to guests to take to...

This is the type of place we don't have much of anymore. It is a motel in the sense that parking is near your room and rooms connected outside on 2 levels. We were 7 people and got connecting rooms-2 doubles and one double with twin. They were long and narrow with a sliding division one could use to separate...

The rooms are always clean, a/c works great and pretty quite uri g both my stays. They hvae beaxh towels, chairs, and umbrellas needed for...

If you are looking for clean, friendly, no frills lodging, check this place out. We had 2 rooms connecting with 2 queen beds in each room, there is a small fridge, microwave and table with 2 chairs. The beds were comfortable. They had a large sundeck on the 2nd floor which was great for just lounging or tables to eat....

The hotel was very clean. Looked like it had been recently painted. However, we listened to something vibrate on & off until 3am. We think it must have been the washing machines on spin cycle. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

I usually don't expect much out of a small, privately owned motel, but this exceeded my expectations. We arrived a few hours before check in and the (friendly) guy at the front desk hustled to accommodate us. We didn't bring the kids this trip but will do so next time. The location was only a $5.50-$7 Uber ride from the...

For the area, this is nicely priced. Firstly, this is a motel - not sure that is clear. The rooms are definitely clean and comfortable enough but the rooms are older and there are no frills. The Rooms had a microwave, mini fridge and coffee station. Nice TV with many channels and HBO. The soap and shampoo are a bit...

The check in was great. The lady at the front was friendly and gave directions to local places to see. She told of us of the "borrowing towels, boogie boards etc..policy. I thought this was great they lend stuff for you to take to the beach. The room was alright and hade everything we needed. It was very reasonably priced....

This is a clean, quiet, comfortable and affordable place for a weekend getaway. Conveniently located within a block of two excellent eateries. The staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely would come back here again.

Newport Channel Inn Motel is clean, well run, has lots of little amenities and is affordable. The Newport Channel Inn is a great place to stay and is located on PCH directly across the street from a wide expansive beach. There is a small park with playground equipment for children right behind the motel. Little amenities include use of motel...
