The hotel has a convenient location near NASA Ames, the rooms are large, wifi works, and the beds comfortable enough. However, the hotel itself is run down overall, the staff are surly/unfriendly, the sole elevator is small and dirty, the carpets are embarrassingly worn out, the "fitness center" consists of nothing more than two cardio machines in a closet, and... Started our vaca in LA and then drove the Pacific Coast Highway up to enjoy a few days in the San Francisco area. Knew we could save a little money staying outside of the city but this was a little too far out of my comfort zone. Granted, if you are in town for business or are more familiar with... More

What a snap to get to Shoreline Amphitheater from this hotel. Real easy to get in & out. I recommend a room towards the back, away from the highway noise. Very clean and quiet in the back. Simple breakfast in the morning. The bed was very comfortable.

Had some tech-related business so wanted a place nearby, but not in the thick of downtown. This is a great place for it - near the freeway, but bordering a nice residential area. Front desk staff are efficient and courteous (and really helpful when your midnight snack gets caught in the vending machine!) I like a place with fridge and... More

We stayed at this Quality Inn because of its proximity to Mountain View and Google. We were very pleased with the room, cleanliness, location and breakfast. The front desk service was sub par. If I wasn't familiar with Quality Inn and know that their service is usually excellent, this experience would have convinced me to stay away from Quality Inn.... More

I would absolutely stay here again due to its proximity to my company's Mountain View office. I was able to walk there in about 10 minutes. The hotel itself is average and lacks a few major needs for me during travel - most notably, a nearby restaurant. There's a small taqueria run out of a grocery store about a block... More

I checked in on Wednesday night/Thursday morning, 6-1-16. Checked out at 6am on Friday morning. I was in a hurry to get to my destination that morning and in my haste, forgot the one of two items of clothing for pants I had brought. One was my work, black scrub bottoms. The other was a new pair of Levi 505... More

Plus points were a comfy bed and not much traffic noise despite being very close to the 101. Negative points were that the hotel felt very tired and an absolutely atrocious breakfast was served each morning.
