Stayed for a week, complementary breakfast (basic prepackaged bagels/pasteries, oatmeal packs/yougurt and cereal) and hospitality hour in the evening with hot dogs. I got a bad room, right next to the laundry room where the dryer had a high pitch squeal.... so don't stay anywhere near the laundry room which is across the hall from the lobby, first floor. Stay...

This is one of the best kept secrets out there. If you are DoD you can not beet the price for the location. Rooms are nice with new everything. The staff can not be beat. The General Manager was very nice and accommodating. The flowers out side are great.

I would like to take this opportunity to write a few words to best illustrate the pleasure I had staying at the Navy Lodge in Mountain view, CA. The Navy Lodge not only met my expectations but exceeded my expectations. From the minute you walk through the beautiful lobby you know you've entered a five star hotel. That caters to...

Came out in October to visit friends, the hotel is about 30 minutes south of San Francisco, so if you're staying there you could fly into SFO or San Jose. The room was clean, the kitchen was small but nice, and the front desk staff was amazing. It was a quick and easy drive up to San Francisco for day...

We arrived late in the evening and went into Mountain View to look for a place to eat. We were surprised by the charming town with dozens of restaurants along Castro Street. I couldn't figure out why there was such a charming town seemingly nowhere. When I googled it I found out Mountain View is the headquarters for Google. That...

Our daughter booked here for a weekend 1/2 marathon in San Francisco. There were 3 adults and a 7 year old. She also brought her lab so we had a dog crate as well. The hotel was very nice and beds were comfy. There was a free continental breakfast provided which was fine. There isn't much to do in the...

My family was traveling down 101 from Travis AFB to Port Hueneme then to March AFB. We spent one night there at Moffett. Rooms were clean, continental breakfast was good, staff was courteous. One NEGATIVE that soured our 12-day trip; my teenage daughter left a pair of earbud headphones under the covers, my wife called about 20 minutes after leaving,...

The Navy Lodge was only $80 per night but restricted to military families, including retirees, National Guard, etc. Very quiet. Had a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, range, coffee pot, dishes, silverware, etc. Staff printed out commuter train timetable and our airline boarding pass. No PX nearby but there is a commissary on the base (the lodge is right off the...

On a Labor Day weekend vacation, my husband and I stayed at the Navy Lodge. A military ID is required, active or retired. The $79 price was an excellent value for two queen beds, kitchenette and bathroom. The room was very clean and quiet. A small continental breakfast was included: Cereal, bagels, juice and coffee. One morning we were early...
