Detailed Reviews
First of all, the room could’ve been cleaner, especially in these COVID times. I got wipes from the lobby and wiped down my room myself. They are short on housekeeping help, but they didn’t COMMUNICATE this! We had to ask for towels, trash cans to be emptied, toilet paper, etc. Beds were never made. The housekeepers who were on the 6th and 7th floor worked very hard and were accommodating. I would stay elsewhere next time. (I visit the area a lot because my daughter lives here). The breakfast attendant was very friendly and accommodating. Free garage parking was a big plus!

If you’re planning on staying in the San Gabriel Valley (Monterey Park, Alhambra, Rosemead et al) this hotel would make an excellent choice. It has seen better days for sure but overall it’s still a nice stay. The parking garage is great and free. The rooms appear to be renovated. Really, the only recommendation I would have for the hotel is to re-carpet the hallways and upgrade the elevators if possible. There is a free breakfast buffet, however, I never tried it. Keep in mind the hotel is literally located in the best area for Chinese food outside of China in the entire world. In particular, dim sum. This is no exaggeration. You could do a food trip here that would rival an actual trip to China. The hotel is lit up at night which makes it easy to find when you’re driving back at night. The neighborhood is clean and quiet. I would recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the SGV.

The hotel is very Oriental oriented. Breakfast offered the usual items, cereal, juice and coffee with additional items like tea boiled eggs, soup and other Oriental items. Something different but very tasty.
The property needs some care. I noticed leaking roofs in several areas. In addition, several areas of the hotel were closed off. Was this due to covid protocols?
The bathroom is quite small and cramped. The room is large, clean, well-appointed and comfortable with mini fridge provided in the room. A ice/chilled water machine and microwave are provided in the hall. Free breakfast and parking are provided. All in all, a good value for the money.

The facility is recently remodeled and felt like a 4-star hotel. Everything is new: the beds, the beddings, the furniture, the TV, etc. were all first-class. The location is very convenient; there are at least a dozen decent Chinese restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel gave me American horror story vibes. The stay overall was below okay, there was no cable just basic antena this was the biggest issue for me. The location the area signs were mostly in Chinese writing and couldn’t understand it. Second, the shampoo and lotions dispenser were broken. Took them about 15 mins to come and replace it. Third, the bed was so hard felt almost if I was sleeping on the floor.

Wife and I have been staying here 2 to 3 nights every other week for the past 6 months while she goes through procedures at USC Keck Medical. Searched high and low for a reasonable place close to the hospital.
The staff here is very friendly and accommodating (especially George!) Whenever we need anything they are very responsive. The room has a comfortable king bed, a mini fridge, and a large flat screen smart TV. If you have Prime or Netflix be sure to ask the front desk for their smart TV remote.
Parking is free and is attended by security guard Omar at night from 11p to 7a. You won't find a better deal for the price!

In the middle of the "New Chinatown" (Alhambra, Monterey Park, Rosemead) is this quite comfortable Oasis called the Lincoln Hotel. Big rooms, great breakfast and friendly responsive staff!
Our ADA room needed a couple of adjustments that were corrected promptly. We would definitely recommend a stay here! Being in the heart of a thriving Asian community there are hundreds of great restaurants to choose from, like the Tasty Garden. You won't be disappointed!

While the property is a bit aged it is kept clean and the staff was professional. The local surround, restaurants and shopping is nice and the variety of foods in the neighborhood makes it nice stop on the Los Angeles stays. Although I usually stay in the valley each week is was nice to find a basin property in the price range I like to pay.

We were here to visit family over the lunar new year, and didn't realize there would be a festival outside, but that was a pleasant surprise! The front desk staff while helpful, didn't seem friendly at first, but it seemed to be more a language barrier. The included breakfast is a bit light on selection, and I do wish their boiled eggs/tea eggs were less overcooked. There is bread, cereal, oatmeal, chinese porridge, some soy sauce chow mein, and cabbage, along with mini waffles, but they ran out of butter a couple times, and their 'juice' was not juice, but more a sugary fruit drink. The rooms themselves weren't always clean either, but liveable with. I could see why some people would complain about the state of the bathrooms, other than the lobby, which is newly renovated, this hotel could use a refresh. Interestingly enough, as we were there two separate times with a different hotel splitting our stay, we got one room with a super hard bed, and a second room with a super soft one. Wish they could just go with something in the middle of both of those options. All in all, though, my family would rate this as a 'good enough' hotel.

I stayed at the Lincoln Hotel in Monterey Park, CA from 5/24/2022 thru 5/27/2022. This hotel needs a serious remodeling. Bathroom sinks have old & badly scratched faucet, worn & faded formica, elevators are dirty w worn carpets and chipped paneling.
Lincoln Hotel used to have a restaurant, bar and ballroom but all are closed and papered over--its best days are in the past. This gives guests a depressing experience. If you travel on a budget, the rate might be attractive.
If you don't want to feel you are staying in a hotel that is on serious decline, would suggest a newer hotel in San Gabriel area. The Lincoln Hotel needs a serious remodel and infusion of capital. The newer places in Monterey Park are more attractive and much cleaner to visit. It does offer a breakfast & decent coffee, but think one can get that in newer hotels too.

Thank you for your sharing including Lincoln's history. New management with renovation since 2019 but locked down during pandemic and just reopened in Oct 2021. For those mentioned, will certainly review in our next Engineering meeting. Thanks for coming back to Lincoln and hope to welcoming you back in the future.

Apologies for the delay. FYI, breakfast is now continental but with a touch of Chinese breakfast remain.
Hi,
Hotel was reopen on 9/16/21, after under "PRK' ended by 6/2021.
The property closed since then to do a full renovations. Conditions of property actually is better than ever.
It is under different owner and management since 10/2018, pandemic hit us hard financially. But we are glad that we participate "PRK" program not only help government to control the spreed of virus but also safe all our employee's job opportunities.
