The Days Inn Monterey-Fisherman's Wharf Aquarium was a great place to stay while we were in Monterey. It was spotlessly clean, and it looked like it had recently been completely remodeled. Very nice. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would stay there again. My only complaint is the name: Days Inn Monterey-Fisherman's Wharf Aquarium. It is actually about 2 1/2 miles from either Fisherman's Wharf, a little further from the Aquarium. Not a big deal if you have a car, but we were using the excellent bus system, and it became a little cumbersome to get around.

This was exactly what we expected for this price range. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is across the road from the mall and close to downtown. We would stay here again when traveling in the area.

Stayed 3 nights. Very quiet and clean with comfy beds and coffee stuff in the room plus a refrigerator. Continental breakfast (nut bars, juice, coffee with real creamer) available. NOT near Fishermans Wharf so you have to drive there. The evening checkin person wasn’t great at customer service, but ALL others were.

My biggest issue is the door barely latched. Using the deadbolt, it latched, but I dont think it would have been enough to keep someone out should it be kicked in. Safety issue for sure. Pillows are super fluffy, I couldn't sleep. Bring your own if you can. Breakfast wasn't mentioned to me at check in. Found out later. That was disappointing. Remote to the TV feels super gross. I wiped it down with a sanitizing wipe but still nasty. Bring gloves or a baggie to put it in. Haha Otherwise, it was a good stay. Was quiet since it was a monday-wednesday trip. I would stay again if needed.

My friends and I (we were a group of 12 friends) stayed here for 2 nights. Check in was easy and the young man who checked us in accommodated the room requests we had ( we all wanted to be on the first floor). The rooms we all got were nice! Everything about our rooms looked upgraded or recently renovated. The bathroom was spacious and updated (flooring, tub surround, sink). The beds were comfortable, the pillows were fluffy, the bedcovers were nice and of good quality. The room carpet was in good condition. Rooms had a ref and microwave. Breakfast only had coffee and granola bars wc was not a big issue since we were all ok with coffee for breakfast.

Great location and great value for my race weekend. The room was clean and comfortable and I could walk anywhere easily. I have stayed there for past race weekends and will again next year. I really like shopping at the Del Monte Center and it is just across the street . . . plus I can walk to Fisherman's Wharf in 15 minutes.

The guy who work in the reception, Sam, is incredibly rude, we tried to bring up issues that we had having no warm water, he was saying we were lying and no one else complained. Worst customer services I’ve ever experience in my life. Won’t be coming back ever.

Overall stay was great. The check-in and check-out process was efficient. The manager and staff were very friendly. I will be staying here again in the future and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a hotel room while in Monterey. It is centrally located to places of interest, food and shopping.
