We stayed here for three nights, and it was quite good. The landscaping was pleasant, the room was clean and well-stocked, and our limited interactions with the front desk staff were nice. Will happily stay here again if ever in Monterey!
Stayed here on our way traveling the pacific coast and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. If you are looking for a nice place to stay at a reasonable price I would absolutely book here.
This is such a cute stay! I wish it had more reviews and a higher rating as it is definitely worth a visit when driving the PCH! We stayed here on the way through as a stop off to for some whale watching (highly recommend Chris' Whale watching for this). We arrived early and whilst early check in was not an option as the rooms were still being cleaned, Lexi at reception informed us we could park our car with our luggage and go to explore for a few hours whilst we waited. Having just been to San Fran where parking for one hour was $20, this was a refreshing change of pace. Cannery Row is definitely worth a visit, whilst we sat having lunch we spotted some dolphins from the pier. When we came to check in again we were greeted by Matt who was very informative and was happy to point out the local information and where to go (directions etc.). All in all this was an amazing visit, we had been staying in a 4* Hilton in San Fran and if doing this trip again; would 100000% cut our time in SFO to stay here for a longer period of time. What a beautiful little motel with everything we needed (albeit a short visit of 1 night). The rooms far outrank those at the Hilton. They also allowed us to leave the car in their lot some 5 hours after check out whilst we did our whale watching tour at no extra cost!!…
From the outside it looks like your average motel but I was extremely pleased with the decor, cleanliness and comfort of the room! No stale smoke smell, a little coffee maker, microwave and I was psyched there was a bathtub so I could soak in epson salt after a day of a Pickleball tournament. The bed was comfy and I liked the soft pillows. Would definitely stay there again. The location was also perfect for my needs
I enjoy staying at Arbor Inn friendly management team and the housekeeping very clean worked so hard to keep the place nice and clean!!! This is my 5+ stars close to the Del Monte Mall and downtown Munras everything walking distance!!! Thank you so much for all the hard work and accomodations -:)
My boyfriend and I recently stayed at this super cute inn for 3 nights. The exterior paint colors, plants and the building provide a welcoming feeling as you drive in to the parking lot. The front desk agent was very friendly at check-in. It was a quick process and she gave us the information we needed. We weren't in the room very much during the day but this place began to feel like home after the first night. It was perfect for us and we shall be back!
Wasn’t sure what to expect when we arrived but the front desk was extremely kind and helpful and our room was clean, comfortable, and beautiful! It has obviously been currently renovated and they did a lovely job.
It one of the worst places I've stayed in Monterey. We checked in late, paying 330 bucks in a room that was echoey, can hear everything... upstairs and side neighbors. The room had a lumpy bed and hard old towels. 3 towels in a room with 5 people... I went up to ask for more towels and was told she was closed. Okay, went back to the room to get the kids set up in bed, needed to use an extra blanket in the closet, the blanket was dirty, smelled like a campfire. I went back to the office and called on the outside phone to tell her the blanket was dirty, she did not want to get me a new one but finally did. she gave me a bunch of !!!1... I asked her " well isn't that part of the job to give amenities to your guest?' she said "NO". anyways, she decided to call me after getting this extra blanket to tell me to leave at 12:30 at night with 3 kids or else she will call the cops. asked her if this is how you treat your guest again, all for asking for amenities. also, we overpaid for this room, which had no amenities! to my question, she just kept yelling at me on the phone to leave. I unplugged the phone. The next morning she apologized however she decided to go off on me again over asking for extra towels and a clean blanket... saying she's never had a complaint, which is hard to believe. I would NEVER stay here again!!! this place is the worst place to go. If you're looking for a room and this is what you're looking at DONT DO IT!!! People like this should not have any business running a hotel.…
The motel is very attractive with lots of flowers around the parking lot. The room was very pleasantly furnished and easily accessible. The staff at the front desk were friendly and efficient. I definitely recommend this hotel for a quiet stay and a nice experience.
Room was clean, bed was very, very firm. We had a king with a fire place. The fireplace put out an impressive amount of heat. Room was a bit small overall but was fine especially considering the price paid. Water pressure in the shower was adequate but could have been better. Bathroom was pretty small. Room felt a bit dated but again, we didn't pay a lot of money. Only major gripe was the front desk staff. When we checked in they barely greeted us and outside of asking me for my I.D. and credit card I don't believe they said anything else. We weren't given any directions to the room and later when it was clear we were just aimlessly walking around trying to find our room the two at the front desk walked past and didn't offer to help. They weren't rude necessarily, just not helpful.…
