Stayed here 2 nights during a family trip down the coast. Its Monterey so you pay a lot for a hotel. I paid around 200 for a Friday night which I hate to do but in Monterey that's a deal. I think it was around 150 for Thursday. The location has a few different buildings. Our room was large and...

Room smelled really bad. There was a black hair on the sheets. Window screen was laying on the roof outside the window, and the weather stripping was just hanging from the window. Some kind of splatter on the bathroom wall. This room had no closet, no ironing board (but it had an iron?) We expressed our concerns to the front...

Clean and quiet with a comfy bed. A couple of miles from Cannery Row and all the tourist activity, which was reflected in the lower price. No pool, just very helpful and friendly front desk staff. She helped me get discount tickets for the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Large, clean room. King-size bed. No carpet, so I could see that the...

I understand that the Red Roof is not The Hampton Inn but I believe that this hotel should be clean and comfortable. The reason that I choose this hotel was that the other hotels in Monterey were expensive. With hindsite, I should had paid the higher fees. We were in room 101 and the room was noisy with the fridge...
