This little property has all of the charm and romance of motor courts of yesteryear. It also has all of the modern amenities with the exception of robust Wi-Fi. Many of the cabins have fireplaces and a few have kitchens. The hosts are very accommodating and pleasant. Our cabin was tastefully decorated with comfortable furnishings. The dining choices are limited,...

I can't express how much we enjoyed our stay. the furnishings are gorgeous, the...

Welcome back Brenda! Glad your stay was all you hoped for and more from the sound of it. Being family owned does make a difference in our business as you really are our guests and we try very hard to make each one feel welcome and comfortable. You sound like our success story! See you next summer.

I have stayed here many times over the years. I would plan a trip from Lake Tahoe to get out of the show and come over to the coast to spend time. This might be one I would send money like a "layaway plan" to some places and pay them so I knew I was paid in full when I...

Miranda is indeed a small town and the Miranda Gardens has been there since the late 20's, originally as a motor court where your grandparents would take their new car on a trip to a unique restored resort with cottages in the Redwoods. We thank you for both your loyalty and your kind words. We look forward to your next...

There is no other location Miranda Gardens could have been established other than on the Avenue of the Giants. The exceptionally clean and restored cabins compliment the peaceful and grand living monuments of the Redwoods. Antique decor, a fireplace,a porch looking out into the woods and the modern amenities of a mini frig and microwave enhanced our stay. The friendliness...

Your eloquent response will give our hardworking staff a pleasurable surprise. Miranda Gardens has been here since 1929 and was a motor court where your grandparents would go with their brand new car! Over the years the cottages have been renovated and while the original charm is retained and restored, modern amenities as you mentioned have been added. Thank you...

Older cottage nestled in the redwoods. The furnishings were older with many antique pieces. The wallpaper and cedar paneling was also very vintage. That being said, everything was spotless and in perfect repair. The bed was comfortable and the towels were plush. Very nice spot for a restful nights sleep during travels.

Our resort was an original 1929 Motor Court and was extensively remodeled over the past 38 years and presently to keep the charm but enjoy modern comforts. You captured the essence!

I stayed here with my 19-year old daughter on a 1-week adventure taking her to college. The cottages are at located at the southern end of the Avenue of the Giants, which was a perfect resting stop before our Redwood adventures the following day. Upon check-in, the hostess was so sweet and conversational. Our cottage was clean and the beds...

Lovely little place in the Redwoods will definitely go back and stay longer. Fire pit is a real bonus in the evening. Pizza across the street was excellent and Tuesday night they have a Farmers Market nice Cont. Breakfast in Morning.

Thanks Ronald! Glad you had a pleasant time with us. The evening fire pit is fun for all. New friends are made, all ages eat s'mores and share a glass of wine (the older folk), and one season two families started to gather with marshmallows and they quickly realized they were neighbors from back east who didn't expect to see...

We have been staying here for the past 3-4 years, we love it here. Low key, very friendly with amazing hikes and people. The café across the street is fantastic or you can eat in Garberville. If you have not visited the redwood yo need to put this on your list.

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The cottages are modern and clean yet have all the best of the original buildings, like the redwood paneling on the walls. The rooms are large. The staff is super nice and helpful. We had a kitchen. It was supplied with really...

Comfortable cottage with plenty to do on the grounds. Horseshoes, basketball, table tennis and swimming - take your pick you won't be bored. It was warm out that day, however, the room was very cool with no AC! It was very clean. We needed a rollaway bed in our room and our son said it was very comfortable! Only one...
