We stayed here for 2 nights in the garden court room. It was wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed Steve, the proprietor. He was extremely helpful with dinner reservations and everything we possibly needed. Will definitely recommend this beautiful B&B to friends!!

My husband and I just spent the most wonderful weekend in Mendocino staying in the Kasten Cottage at the Packard House. Steve the host is so warm, welcoming and a great cook. He is a natural host - so hard to find these days. He made us amazing breakfasts, beautifully presented, and made us feel completely at home with just...

We spent one night at Packard House. The bed was very comfortable, the service was great (Steve, the proprietor is friendly, eccentric and kind), and the location is lovely. We could have done without the sales pitches about the other properties in the group but I guess they didn't apply to us. Breakfast was interesting but a little over the...

Steve, our host, was amazing. Greeted us with a hug and made everything so comfortable. Breakfast was insane good. May have taken 2+ days to prepare! Gorgeous view and nice room as well. We stayed in the Pacific View room if you have a choice. Also met two wonderful friends at the wine social Steve hosted for us. Just spectacular.

This is not your typical B&B in many ways. It is much more modern in its decor. Breakfast is a smorgasbord of small plates. There is a great wine social hour every day from 5-6, which gave us a chance to talk to the other guests and get some recommendations on places to go and restaurants to try. And absolutely...

I echo the positive sentiments expressed by so many-- The B&B has comfy but modern furniture that made our stay feel "plush" rather than rustic as happens at some B&Bs. Steve is such a friendly and gracious host-- he genuinely loves what he does and it shows in his enthusiasm, excellent tapas snacks, wine, and superb breakfasts. Despite it being...

This was the best B&B we have ever experienced. Steve was so welcoming and went above and beyond to make us comfortable (with Cindy's help of course). What a team they made! The accommodations were outstanding, and we were able to walk to all the shops in town. The breakfasts were creatively prepared and delicious every time. The "home" feel...

The B&B is decorated in a modern style, which attracts a slightly younger demographic than the average B&B. I am 31, and of the 4 other couples we met who were staying there, that was the average age. Made for great breakfast conversation over a truly delicious breakfast both mornings. Room was nice (could use a fresh coat of paint...

This place was great. The room was a perfect size and the Inn manager was great. I booked this B&B for my bday weekend which is on the 4th. I was told that this was the biggest weekends in Mendo. Given that this was our 1st time to Mendo I was thrilled. The room fit all our needs and I...

We spent one night in this fantastic B&B . The location is very beautiful, the atmosphere so romantic, cosy, and the host is a wonderful person. He prepared a delicious breakfast that we had together with another nice couple from US, we really enjoyed that moment, it seemed to stay with friends and the food was very fresh. So our...
