My husband and I have been wanting to have dinner at the MacCallum house. We live about an hour an a half away, so we decided to go up and spend the night. We arrived a bit early but were warmly greeted and given our keys to the Napoleon Room in the MacCallum suites. We were told they were a...

First & foremost our stay at the MacCallum House suites was very good. The MacCallam Suites are situated on the town outskirts about 10 minutes walk to the main hotel & very quiet. Our suite was very well presented with a sea view above the town. The quality of the breakfast which is taken in the hotel itself was good...

We spent the night here recently and had a great time!!! The complimentary breakfast was Awesome and more than we expected. The rooms were clean (we had two rooms next to each other) & very well appointed. I was slightly disappointed there was no air conditioning but most times it is not needed in Mendocino. The location couldnt be better...

It is a bed an breakfast house and everything was absolutely perfect. The price was reasonable which included a terrific breakfast and the staff were very friendly. Also, eat at the reastruant downstairs it...

Our visit started with the indifferent reception at the check in desk and progressed to finding our room somewhat unclean. Being animal lovers we appreciate that this is a pet friendly establishment. I didn't appreciate that their was still dog hair in the bathroom and the crumbs of pet treats on the floor of our room. Speaking of the bathroom,...

The MacCalllum House Inn delivers comfort, charm and a warm welcome year after year. From the delicious breakfasts to the excellent dinners the dining is pleasurable. The surrounding gardens are lovely and the in-town location can't be beat. There are a variety of accommodations from which to choose.

We booked one of the holiday rentals - Room 34 - Jedediah Smith. The cottage is spacious and certainly large enough to house more people than my little family of three. The cottage is situated toward the back area of Mendocino though this should not put you off as the town is small and everything is easily accessible by foot....

Dinner here is always so good. My favorite dish is the Clam Chowder soup, without exaggerating it is the best I've had in my life. It is not too creamy, more brothy than creamy. This dish is full of clams, bacon bits, and potatoes. I absolutely love it. The wine list is excellent, and the ambiance is great. The fireplace...

We stayed one night in the suites up the street, they are huge with lots of amenities. We had the honeymoon suite with views of the town and ocean, we were sorry that we didn't spend another night it was so spacious and comfortable. The breakfast included with the room was also very good and served at the main house....
