We really enjoyed our stay at Sweetwater Inn in Mendocino this March. Everything you need is provided, and the grocery store is a short 2 blocks away. We could only go rooftop once because of the rain this time of the year, and we were able to take a few pictures of the stunning view of the ocean and town....

Built in 1872, the Sweetwater Tower was lovingly reconstructed in 1983, creating one of Mendocino's most unique accommodations. This sunny and private room is prized by those seeking romance and renewal. The downstairs bathroom and spa area which is shared with other spa guests from the hours of 11 am to 10:00 PM is private after hours and mornings. Robes...

Mendocino was a pleasant surprise. A beautiful town by amazing coastline. The Sweetwater is a lovely inn with ocean views within walking distance to the town centre. The staff were very nice, especially Diana who was lovely. The spa tub was wonderful, great for a relaxing (naked) soak. I could've stayed for a week. The breakfast muffins are a delicious...

Five stars for location, service, quaint accommodations. Stayed in the country suite. Cute room with small kitchen for snacks / coffee with fridge. Daily muffins at our door. Cute fireplace. View towards the ocean. Walking distance to town for shops and food. Housekeeper was great and she turned in my necklace to be mailed to me when I left it...

We had a great time at the Sweetwater Inn. We were in the garden cottage, a room with a private garden and a private hot tub. The room was exactly as described in the web site and if the bathroom was a little small, the garden and the hot tub more than compensated. We used the complimentary spa both days...

This was my third visit to Sweetwater and it's starting to feel like home. We so enjoyed our stay in the water tower (our usual room). A pleasant surprise was the lovely remodel of the spa area and especially the indoor facilities. The room is always clean and comfortable. Another new surprise was the delivery of warm baked goods to...

A 3 hour drive from San Francisco, but totally worth the trip. Get past the winding road and you hit Mendocino. A quiet town but a town that is not stuck in time. The Sweetwater Inn, what a wonderful place to getaway. Our room was cozy- queen sized bed, fireplace, and a coffee maker. In the morning they deliver to...

My wife and I went to the spa and really enjoyed ourselves. The outside grounds are kind of maze-like and are filled with creative pieces and beautiful flowers. The communal hot tub is free with a massage treatment and is really nice. We were alone there, which was a plus. All wood...perfect temperature...nice jets...high water level--very romantic and relaxing. Then...

My daughter and I stayed here for 6 nights recently celebrating our birthdays. It was everything we hoped for; not fancy, but clean, a place to relax after hiking, biking, touring all day with good beds, very nice linens to end the day. A knock on the door in the morning announced the arrival of warm muffins/pastries on the doorstep. Yum! The location was...

We stayed in the Sweetwater Tower. This is the little room above the big communal hot top. This room is kind of quirky in that your toilet is down in the spa and you share it with everyone using the spa while it's open. The cool thing is that when the spa is closed (think all night long) you get...
