Nice suite, a little bit expensive. Nice walk to Venice beach (15-20mn). Breakfast ok but room to eat it very very small! We had to wait every mornings for seating. Staff very nice and helpful. Swimming pool not for swimming, very small.

We stayed here in December and we are so glad we found this hotel. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location can't be beat. It is close to the freeway, so anywhere in LA is close and you're right near the Marina, so after a long day there are great restaurants a short drive...

We stayed three nights at the hotel. Our double queen room was facing the Marr street at the back of the hotel and street noice from Washington Blvd did not disturb at all. The room was convinient, clean and big enough for three. Staff was very helpful and ready to answer our questions. Great plus was bike renting possibility. Only...

We stayed there for 2 nights in June 2012. The staff was warm and thoughtful and very available for help and advice about local places etc. Room is basic BW, very clean and convenient and hotel has a -small- pool on the first floor and a gym too. The location on Washington could be a bit more glamourous but it...

During our recent trip to LA, California we were pleasantly surprised with the warm hospitality and courteous service at the Best Western Inn . Great location on a lovely palm-lined boulevard and close to restaurants, the beach, a Walgreen's, bus stops, etc. The room was actually better than I expected (comfy beds!) and I really appreciated the in-room microwave. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and made you feel at home. Free breakfast was also great, though it does get crowded. The only...

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely decorated and well maintained. The property is well maintained. Situated near all Marina activities with very good restaurants within one block and cool shopping is a very short walk. The pool is very little and is not for swimming but for dipping to keep cool on hot days. Nice...

The nicest hotel staff I've ever encountered! Loved the one bedroom suite, very convenient and clean. Loved the seating area with water and fire features. The kids loved the pool. Very good complimentary breakfast. I loved the computers and printers in lobby. They made it possible to print our boarding passes before going to the airport. Definitely exceeded our expectations!...

Staying in Venice

Neighbourhood Profile
Venice
Venice has always danced to its own beat as the epicenter of bohemian culture in Los Angeles. Along the boardwalk there are street performers and local craftsmen selling their wares. Original paintings, souvenirs, and jewelry are on display. Crowds of visitors marvel at the sites while weightlifting enthusiasts pump iron in plain view, and skateboarders do their tricks around the skate park. All of it happens under the warm California sun with sprawling views of sand and sea. Heading east, the main drags of Abbot Kinney Boulevard and Main Street are lined with boutique shops, some major retail stores, art galleries and restaurants. Here the ambiance is more relaxed and upscale than the frenetic boardwalk area. Venice is a mostly walkable (and certainly bikeable) neighborhood, full of areas to explore.
