Great hotel in a very beautiful place! We stayed just for one day but we wish we could have more time!!! The hotel and room is gourges and luxury! The service was above our expectations and everything was just amazing :) We highly recommend!!!
The hotel does not seem to have enough personnel. The Lobby, which used to be great for drinks and food, is closed and the area that is available has the worst possible service. I’m the rooms, the bed linen is old and uncomfortable. This is definitely not a five-star hotel.
Great hotel and good restaurant. Friendly staff and very handy location for LAX. Loved eating on the veranda and looking out over the marina and listening to the sea lions. Couldn't have asked for a better location
We did a staycation for a night whilst our house was getting fumigated. Our room was a decent size for a day. We had a partial ocean view w/ Juliet balcony. The room itself was clean. The bed & pillow was comfy. The bathroom could be cleaned & updated. The floor around the toilet had big yellow stains. The grout was dirty. The paint on the walls was like it was sloped on & cakes up in the corners. You don’t get many amenities like you would at other 5 star hotels. We had to share a tiny bottles of bath gel, shampoo & conditioner. We stayed at the Hilton MDR the night before & prefer that hotel for the price point. I think this hotel has the ritz name not the quality. The partial view wasn’t worth the price. If I didn’t have the view I wouldn’t have stayed for the price.
Great location, good staff, comfortable rooms, good wifi, good valet parking, beautiful views, and they upgraded me to their largest suite. Not a bad place to spend a couple of nights in LA. Also close to LAX is nice and a great place to walk around the marina. I will for sure come back to this hotel. The only problem was one nutty women anti-vaxer at the front desk telling me how it's stupid to get vaccinated. But everything else was great.
We stayed here for 1 night last week and it was lovely. The staff was nice, hotel is pretty and the location is perfect. Our room was clean and very cozy with nice amenities. We had a view of the water and the pool (which was closed for construction). Easy to get in/ out via Uber and nice nearby paths for strolling. Had a drink at the bar and enjoyed our bartender immensely! We will be back.
I live in the Pacific Northwest and have plenty of rain and gloomy days this time of year. I visited the house of the mouse recently and enjoyed the sun and adventure of Anaheim. I wanted to stay another day in LA to enjoy the sun and relax. I stayed at the Marina Del Ray Ritz in the past and booked it at the last minute. I did this over the phone and did not see that the pool is currently under renovations. I was surprised when returning from a walk and went by the pool to discover the renovations. I went to the concierge and talked with Amanda. Amanda knows her job well and told me of the many options I had at my disposal beside the pool at the Ritz. I could use the pool at the Marriott nearby, spa services available on site, as well as get my Zen on the patio overlooking the Marina. Amanda went above and beyond any expectations. She represents the Ritz Carlton brand at the highest level.…
I love the waterfront Club Lounge at the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Ray, Los Angeles CA. The entrance fee is reasonable in comparison to other Ritz-Carlton's, especially for those who do not take any wines and liquors. We had a great experience during a check-in process. The two staff were very friendly. I told them that I wish the County of Los Angeles would have never sold the property during the global financial crisis beginning in 2008. The Sisley Spa has one hidden Jem most high-end 5-star hotels lack. The current owner is Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc. Thank you Edgar Mosqueda, Club Lounge Concierge, for your outstanding hospitality during my stay at The Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey. We will come back again soon.
What a disgusting excuse for a Ritz Carlton. As a father to a special needs child with a handicap placard I was appalled to find out that the designated handicap spots were NOT for handicapped parking but for the hotels valet to use at it's discretion for it's restaurant and VIP guests. What the heck is that??? Despite my complaints they saw nothing wrong with this practice. At the very least remove the handicap designation and then use it as you see fit! The hotel itself is run down. The rooms are weathered. Water marks stain the bathroom from years of use. Faucets are on their last legs. The worn out mattresses are covered with a down mattress cover. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were very nice, but it ends there. There was no warning when booking that their pool was closed for renovations. DONT WASTE your money here, stay at the Marriott down the block or a motel 6, better off!…
The hotel is living on its former glory….it’s not 5 star it’s a ok 4 star. The services are basic and not inexpensive. There is only one restaurant and it’s ok nothing special but ok. With months of total inactivity they have decided to work in the pool area which screws up any chilling relaxation…but instead of “ efficiently blitzing the area “ the rope it off and do nothing for days. The executive lounge is ok …nothing special although they are very liberal with drinks which is great. Housekeeping very good The rooms are tired and never 5 star but getting bye. Used to love this hotel but it’s now nothing special…Sorry Ritz your not trying hard enough. Lacks 5 star management detail.
