Enjoy your stay in Burbank!
The hotel room was quite small. It was not dirty but, not 100% clean. The guy at the hotel reception was nice but, not so helpful when asking for restaurants around. The bathroom was so small and also the towels (I swear, not enough for an adult). It is ok is you are staying 1 night, no more.
Filthy rooms, stained linens. Checked out 20 minutes after checking in. Room was small and dirty, only stayed long enough to cancel rest of stay and find somewhere else to go. Not convenient, not a good neighborhood
The hotel is old and rooms are small. The bathroom is outrageously small. Way overpriced. No ice machines, coffee maker, continental breakfast, just a old hotel with hard bed and a small refrigerator. The only good thing was the flat screen TV that was hard to work. Lucky Showtime had a free weekend viewing or we would of been stuck with basic TV. The hotel had no local business Guide or TV Guide. When the people up stairs arrived, it was very noisily and we heard every step they took. All in all, if you're looking for a overpriced small room with very thin walls that is close to Universal Studios you have found it. I don't think I would ever book this place again unless they lowered their price. Dane we even went off season (02/17/17) and it was almost $300.00 for 2 days. Good luck I hope this helps.…
The bathroom was very small, my boyfriend is yet tall and he had to keep the door open for his legs to go sideways out of the bathroom. There was no iron although we did not ask the front desk. The bed was not that great and it was too hard. The room was small but served its purpose. I would never book it for more than overnight. Its good for a couple without kids. You can also hear others due to the walls being so thin. You can hear people at their cars, going in and out of their apt. There was no extra security look on the door like other hotels. It just made me a little uneasy so we put a chair on front of the door. I would never stayfor more than over night. It was very close to Universal Studios.
Room was much smaller than expected. It was large enough for us b/c it was just my teenager and myself. But if you have 3 or 4, its much too small. The room literally has room for 2 beds and the night stand in between. The tv has to be mounted to the wall b/c there is no dressers or desk or anything else to be planted on. Location is close to Universal studios and Hollywood for those who are sight seeing. Free parking is why I choose this spot. It also had mini fridge which was nice for left overs. But I did end up finding Sheraton had same price and I"m sure room would have been roomier.
We spent a night in this hotel. It was conviently situated for our visit to Universal Studio. Rooms were clean and tidy. Situation was on a bus route and within walkin distance of a variety of restaurants. A pleasant stay
We came here last June to stay while visiting my boyfriends daughter. Great location, good price, safe and Very Clean. Honestly we came to Studio City earlier this year for a spur of the moment trip and tried to stay here but they were already booked up, so we had to stay a different hotel, (can I just say we were not as impressed with that hotel.) We are going back here in the next month and were very happy that we were able to book at Studio City Inn this time. Rooms are small but they did a great job remodeling which makes up for it. Clean, Clean, Clean
This review is for December 2015; I just forgot to post it on Trip Advisor for whatever reason. This place had a nice front clerk who let us check in early so we could go to Disneyland our first day. There was a little bit of highway noise but nothing unbearable. You can hear the neighbors through the AC and when the window was open but if you turn on the heater it's no big deal. There is a mini fridge. The beds were firm which is how I like them. The curtains keep out direct sunlight so perfect for the late sleeper. They didn't turn down our room the second day which is fine and there was some (what smelled like soap) on one of the coverlets. Only complaints were that the pillows smelled a bit dingy and there isn't a lot of space in the bathroom. BUT the temperature of the room was perfect and the shower was big so it was great. The TV worked and even had free on demand. We really enjoyed our stay!…
The Studio City Inn is a traditional two-story motel that has been recently remodeled and redecorated. Being right on Ventura Boulevard in the Studio City area of Burbank, the Inn is a great location for visitors looking to visit the studios of CBS, Universal, Disney and Warner Bros. It's also a short Uber ride from Hollywood and the Burbank airport. The renovations lend a touch of quality to the somewhat tiny rooms. Rooms with two beds are extremely tight on space but rooms with one bed are not quite so cramped. Rooms are very clean and provide most of the expected modern conveniences including in-room refrigerators, hair dryers, flat-screen TV's and free WIFI. There are numerous outstanding restaurants within walking distance of the Inn. Also, several Metro bus lines make stops close to the Inn for those wishing to use mass transit to explore LA. Our recent stay was not problem free, however. On the morning after our third night, we woke up to no hot water. As a testament to the manager's commitment to service quality, this random problem was addressed immediately and courteously. We were provided with keys to an adjacent room for use of the bathroom. Under the circumstances, the temporary solution was quick, adequate and acceptable. All in all, we believe the Studio City Inn provides the best overall value for short-term lodging in the Studio City area. Given another opportunity, we would gladly stay at the Studio City Inn.…
