We arrived for a family night away which included 5 kids . Our room suite connected to a second room , and had mini donuts , apple cider, champagne and fruit when we arrived . The front desk was so kind , and friendly , not hurried and distracted . We got sort of confused by the front elevator not going to the rooftop but when we did walk around to the back elevator , we arrived on the rooftop which had beautiful panoramic views of the Hollywood hills and Hollywood sign! we had lunch and sat by the poolside . Our food was delicious and simple , definitely get the jalapeño and lime mocktail ! So delicious .
My only downside feedback is the room service options were limited and expensive,
Plus you couldn’t order it to charge to the room or
Even order it from the tablet . We ended up just ordering pizza because kids don’t eat Chinese food , and no one contacted us that our food was here , and the pizza ended up being cold . All was well because we requested the microwave
Also reaching the front desk was difficult because when you press 0, the call goes to central reservations who had no idea how to help with in room dining . You have to press front desk button in order to get them which I didn’t realize . Why can’t central just transfer me !! i had to get up and walk over to the phone base and look through all the buttons .
Anyway I would definitely recommend this hotel , the room was stocked with so many treats , my kids enjoyed the robot who delivered water bottles , toothbrush, extra blankets and towels to our room . We even requested a microwave and tea kettle which was delivered promptly . I’m so grateful for the valet parking as the streets are usually very busy , so this was convenient .
We took a short drive over to the world of illusions museum which is next to several other fun museums , so this hotel is in a great location to go and enjoy other fun places .

I loved this place. It is a beautiful, modern and clean hotel. And it was easy to check in and check out. Aside from the beautiful facade, my mother and I appreciated most the hospitality from several hosts. Adrien, from the front desk was very polite, accommodating and helpful. One night, my mother and I had a heavy meal at a local restaurant and we needed to drink some tea to help with digestion. The guard (I didn’t get his name) found tea bags for us in the back office since the bar was closed and Adrien brought us an electric teapot and 2 bottles of water complimentary to our room so we can make the tea. Also, Mario, one of the valet drivers, was very friendly and welcoming. It’s hospitality like this that makes me want to return to this beautiful hotel.

This was my second time staying at the Dream Hollywood with my fiancé and absoutely loved it. Every time from the moment we checked in, the staff was incredibly courteous and helpful in any way in which we needed. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are clean and chic. My fiancé and I just got engaged in December and upon checking into our room we saw a personal note congratulating us on our engagement with a bottle of champagne. The rooftop pool and highlight bar/restaurant is my favorite part of the hotel with stunning views of Hollywood Hills. There are so many great restaurants and nightlife on site, it was so nice to step out of the lobby and be right next door to Tao, Beauty & Essex, Avenue and so much more. I definitely would recommended this hotel to my family and friends.

Very disappointed as this hotel has great reviews and beautiful pictures. However, when I arrived the room was not cleaned, the carpet was dirty, bathroom was dirty, I had 1 towel in the bathroom, no iron, poorly maintained room (I payed almost $500/night). I called for extra towels and iron and the housekeeper said she "could only find 1 more towel." She also came inside the room to check if I was lying about the iron because she said "I am sure there is one in the room." I called for room service for 1 cup of coffee and they said that they couldn't do it. Also, good luck trying to reach the front desk as they never answer the phone. I asked for simple directions around the hotel and the front desk had no clue about the area around the hotel. Very disorganized and very unprofessional staff. I have travelled around the world and I am usually very easy going, but this hotel really made my stay very difficult and unpleasant specially after paying high quality service fee per night.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was very disappointing, the roof top was closed because there was a private party for all 3 nights, we were basically pushed to one side because of ‘VIP’s’ around the hotel. We were kept awake all night because of the ‘VIP’ party and usually I can sleep through anything. If you want to hire out your hotel just close the place don’t let your rooms out to people and give them limited access. We payed a lot of money and were treated like second class citizens. I’m not one to complain but when asked at check out if everything was ok I said not really, they asked if we would wait and speak to a manager which I said yes, we were kept waiting for an hour and eventually were told the manger was too busy and they would offer us $100 off the bill, basically 10% off. Awful.

I had saved for a lot for this trip for my 18th birthday and extremely disappointed with the service. When we first arrived after travelling for around 13 hours, the staff on reception had said they had no payment for our room and tried to charge us £2000 even though we had proof it had all been payed for. This took around half an hour to sort out which was an extreme inconvenience as we just wanted to shower and go straight to sleep as we were exhausted from travelling. The staff were extremely rude whilst trying to sort this out and didn’t even apologise. We had then asked for room service a few days into our stay as we needed our room cleaned, fresh towels and a restock of toilet rolls. This had not been done so after a long day of exploring, we came back to no clean towels, no toilet rolls and no clean room. We got back around 430 pm and had to call house keeping several times to receive these items. As we were not extremely wealthy or ‘look the part’ we were looked down on by staff as we entered the hotel we were asked ‘Do you have a room here?’ ‘We need you to show us your room card’ as another family walked past without being asked the exact same question. The way they asked and made us feel was like scum and not worthy enough to stay at this hotel. On many of their replies to other reviews, the hotel make out that they will provide us with everything, we rang down to reception and asked for an iron and never received it, we ordered food which was left downstairs behind reception and no one informed us so it was cold by the time we collected it. All they seem to care about is the wealthy and those who look the part to stay in the hotel. We stayed here for 4 days and asked for room service 3/4 of these days which we never got, no clean towels, no clean bedding, no empty bin and when questioned they offered to clean it whilst we were in there getting ready. For $400 per night I would save your money and go to a cheaper hotel that has such higher standards and quality than this hotel. The staff are also extremely rude for no apparent reason and have no manners whatsoever.

My mom and I had booked a last-minute stay here. We booked the hotel the same day that we had checked in (booked in the afternoon, flew down and arrived in the evening). WOW.. Joshua was incredible! He ensured that we had a comfortable stay, and had made necessary adjustments to accommodate my mom’s specific diet and needs in our hotel room prior to our arrival. I had personally stayed at The Dream prior to this trip, and am usually satisfied with the level of service provided by the staff here.. this was Mom’s first time. Joshua is by far one of the best! Philip was fantastic, as well - he assisted with our check out process. Safe to say: The Dream LA is a new favourite for my mom now, as well. Highly recommended! I’m an LA local but even so I am a frequent guest at dream Hollywood. It’s the perfect mid week Retreat or even weekend getaway. Not only is the hotel gorgeous and the vibe a high end, luxurious experience But the location and amenities make it for an unbeatable hotel stay. If all of this was some how not enough to convince you to book a stay at Dream Hollywood immediately, then the top tier employee roster should be all the persuasion you need. The staff here has elite customer service And hospitality care for all their guests. It’s one of the main reasons why I keep coming back. From before check-in to long after check out all of the staff go Above and beyond to make sure the process is smooth, simple and elegant. Mars, Fabian, Sara and Justin are just a few of the exceptional representatives that have helped accommodate me throughout my visits. Can’t forget to mention Alfred as well, He is the robotic Buttler that brings things to and from rooms throughout the hotel for a contactless and cutting edge delivery method. Run don’t walk to book your stay at the Dream Hollywood today, once you’ve experienced it for yourself, no other hotel company will be able to compare.

I flew to LA to visit a friend for her bday. We decided to get a night at Dream hotel based on the grteat reviews, proximity to good restaurants and bars and it’s overall look. We had such a great stay! The hotel is super modern, trendy and amazingly clean. There’s a wonderful rooftop heated pool, restaurant and nightclub. Beds were super cozy. There’s an iPad system in the room where you can order food and any extras you need (cups, toiletries, extra pillows etc). Parking is $60 a night which is steep, but hey, it’s Hollywood!
The absolute best part of our stay was the staff! The check in process was quick and super friendly. When we were up at the pool, we were the only ones there since it was really cold outside and it was about to rain. The pool area looked closed because of it but luckily we ran into Ralph!! Ralph hooked us up with a bunch of towels, made up some lounge chairs up for us and helped us find someone from the Grill to take our food order. We chatted him up and he was soo friendly and helpful! I hadn’t been to the area in a while and was wondering if some of my favorite bars made it thru COVID. He whipped out his phone and started looking it up! What a gem! He also helped us figure out where to go after dinner for fun and pointed out some cool amenities of the hotel. Later in The evening we called the front desk for some ice and cups and Ralph showed up again! It was like seeing an old friend :) He asked if there was anything else we needed and my friend really likes to sleep with a fan on. I swear Ralph scoured the whole hotel and finally found one and brought it up. Talk about service! He even brought us a little treat as well. I would come back this hotel again just for the service!
We had another great interaction with Bailin (sp?) at the front desk who really helped us in getting a last minute dinner reservation. She was so kind and friendly and followed up with phone calls and recommendations and even made our reservation for us.
5 star service here! Would definitely return!

It's hard to explain all the ways this hotel surpassed all other hotel experiences I've ever had! The location is great! The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As a first time visitor to Hollywood, the concierge service was fantastic, providing my wife and me with great restaurant recommendations. The customer service was the best I've had at any hotel!! The option to order services from an iPad in the room was an added touch. Will definitely stay again, and would highly recommend to anyone!!

I stayed there in August 2023 and looking at my bill, there isn't a resort fee on my bill. There is an occupancy tax of 16% and a California Assessment Tax of .20%, but no other charges. Hyatt is going to be changing their system to show all resort fees and charges when booking soon (similar to Marriott), so you can book now and check again before your stay dates and see if there are any additional fees. I was charged $60 for valet parking and there aren't really any other places to park nearby, so if you have a car, valet is really the only way to go. That's the way it is at most of the hotels in that area that I've stayed at recently. It does take 20 minutes or so to get your car and if the nightclub on the roof is open and hopping, dropping off your car is a bit of a zoo, but we managed it. The "incidental card holds" I've experienced in the past isn't per night, but it doesn't really hit your credit card and I'm not really sure how they do it, but it assures them that you will be able to pay your bill when it comes through. I've seen the "holds" before, but never really gave them any thought as I always had room on my card. Be sure to use a credit card and not a debit card as on a debit card, the funds are frozen until the hold is lifted when you check out.
There is a robe in the room, but ours did not have slippers.
Adults for sure. Not really family friendly. The pool is very small.
