We left from our home in Orlando and stayed a week at this hotel. We had our two 14-year old twins with us. The hotel is a 2 story older building with no elevators. However, our experience was GREAT. It was very clean, and all the staff were professional and handled anything we asked for. And we couldn't have asked for a better location. Walking distance to everything. Yje only negative is the parking. I had a rental car and it was very tight trying to park it. But the staff offered to park it for us, and we let them a couple times. The most memorable part of our stay was having a woman named Patricia wait on us like we were kings and kings every morning in the breakfast area. EVERY day she was there waiting on EVERYONE with her smile and friendly demeanor. The breakfast was a continental breakfast (bagel danish, juices, cereal, etc.) but she turned it into a feast for all who came. She was AMAZIUNG. And I've never met anyone with such an incredible work ethic. She cooked everyone's bagels, got everyone's drinks, and she would not let you sit idle waiting for anything. And always with her smile and friendly attitude and wanted to know about everyone and made you feel like you made an immediate friend. And I've never seen anyone work as hard as she does. I wish I could clone her and take her back to work for me. A true gem!!

The hotel has extremely tight parking space. The neighborhood is not very friendly for family. Having said that, the staff here is amazing. Special mention to the lady named Patrica at the breakfast counter. Rooms are clean but old. Housekeeping is great. Overall nice provided you know what you are signing up for.

Stayed only a few weeks ago and have to say I was aprehensive before we left with the location so close to the Boulevard I was worried about safety/noise etc. I went through alot of reviews and decided with the choice of a suite available this was the hotel for my family. Am I glad we did this! Yes the hotel is older only adds to the charm! It is perfectly located and I never felt at risk. Everything is moments away be it the Boulevard/Universal/Metro/eateries and Uber drivers will always find you. Patricia is a highlight in the morning for breakfast and sorted me out with the nicest burrito I have ever tasted thank you from all my family! All the staff were plesant, helpful and accomodating. Have no fear here the rooms are clean the kitchen area was great to have I cannot recomend the place enough.

Stayed here a week, good sized rooms & room service every single day. Location is fabulous, Dolby theatre & Walk of Fame less than 5 mins away as is Hollywood Highland metro which can take you to downtown LA, Universal Studios & Santa Monica (quick change downtown). Basic continental breakfasts, toast/ bagels/waffles/some cereal/hot & cold drinks. Patricia is amazing & goes that extra mile to provide any breakfast food you'd like that isn't there as standard. We were there Oct so never too busy at breakfast time, breakfast room small but looked to have outdoor area too which would likely be used in summer. All in all, hotel very good value for money and we all had a brilliant stay there. Thank you all (especially Patricia xx)

Only stayed for one night - arriving after a long flight. Got to the hotel around 11.30pm and no one to be found on the reception desk. After about 15 mins, someone showed and after a lengthy check-in process, we got to the room. Mmmm....the hotel is one of the less expensive in the area - but it is super dated. We had a 'room' with two doubles - could have done with a curtain between them. Very dated lighting - no side lamps that worked - and air cond didn't seem to work either. The highlight was the super cheerful and helpful lady at breakfast - who served the breakfast. Maybe just ok for one night but no more

I could not recommend this hotel enough. All staff have been some of the loveliest people we have ever met. They were extremely helpful with any questions we had and organising transfers for us. Breakfast was simple with some toast/bagel/waffles/cereal options but it being included in the booking was a great addition. The rooms are a little outdated but that would be nitpicking, it was clean with all of the needed amenities. Location was great being right by the Main Street. Safety was my biggest concern before coming over here and I felt extremely safe in the hotel and surrounding area. Our first trip in the states from America has started off great!

This is a very old hotel, probably built in the 1930s or 40s. The very clean rooms are large with older stained furniture. The king bed was comfortable, a rarity after Covid. The staff are friendly, especially the woman staffing breakfast. The breakfast is fairly limited, but does offer waffles. Everything worked, but the room air conditioner had a difficult time with the barely 80 degree temperature outdoors. The maintenance gentleman said they would be replaced in the future. If it's going to be warm, I would either make sure this has been completed or consider elsewhere. A decent value for the area, but realize its limitations. 4 bubbles to account for the comfortable bed and the value.

Great location and rooms are spacious with the kitchenette a bonus. Staff are friendly and housekeeping was good. Parking is tight but hotel staff help out if there are any issues. My only suggestions would be for a refresh of rooms eg. painting, electrical and beds.

The Hollywood Celebrity Hotel is listed as a 2 star hotel but seriously feels more like 3 or 4 stars. The hotel is super well positioned close to hollywood boulevard and the hollywood hills which was my main reason for choosing it but it offered much more. The check-in was quick and efficient ane the staff friendly. The room was very large, super clean actually smelling of bleach and it had a large bathroom and kitchen area. The beds were very comfortable and there is no noise from the street that I could hear. The hotel offers a car park that is very reasonably priced for the area and finally it offers breakfast which most hotel didn't seem to, the breakfast was really nice with choice of waffles, toast, bagels, cereal and drinks all prepared for you by a lovely lady. Overall the hotel was excellent value for money and I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting LA.
