Our room was on floor 15 facing north. I was worried about the sound but slept well. Corner room seemed a little bigger than a regular king room. The design didn’t seem outdated. Maybe some rooms have been remodeled. In room coffee isn’t great. At 3p we wanted a bite & drink. Restaurant doesn’t open until 5p. We walked a block to the Marriott and had a great time & they were packed with Hilton customers. Might want to rethink that. My only issue was with the parking. I added parking via Hilton app and was told I had to retrieve a physical pass from the desk. I went to the desk but they were out of tickets. So they gave me a temporary pass and told me to come back. I did and at the exit the pass didn’t work so I paid twice for one day of parking. They should update their parking lot to read the mobile room keys like other hotels. One thing I loved is the elevator system. It’s smart though and unfortunately some people are not. It assigns you a door. If you go in the wrong one you’re going to the wrong floor. If used properly it works great!

Hotel's Favourite
Yes, this hotel, in previous reviews, is very much dated. But it has been refreshed. The third party company that runs their airport shuttle is efficient. Since passengers ignore social distancing, the drivers won't overload the bus picking up or dropping off passengers at the airport. It was very easy to catch the shuttle from LAX, and the signs were posted everywhere at the top level of the airport. Registration lines were long; however, if you downloaded the Hilton App, you can get your key digitally by pre-registration the day before your arrival. Diamond members can pick up a $15 voucher from the front desk to use for the F&B options at the hotel. The restaurant however has a modified menu and hours. Internet in the room worked very well. Although there is no refrigerator in the room, just call the front desk if there is one available. Unfortunately, there was not one available for me during my stay, which was fine. The room on the 17th floor had a nice view of the runway. Jet blasts will rock the room every once in awhile. But there is sufficient noise insolation. There is housekeeping services ONLY by request. The room was clean and had no problems using the HVAC unit or television. Bed was comfortable. Front desk was professional and efficient. The hotel was very busy during my weekend stay. I will return and stay at this hotel.

Nice hotel, comfortable beds but not very clean. We found the carpet was not vacuumed and had stains, the room service menu was covered in sticky soda and hairs on bathroom door and floor, Room 6058. I feel that the quality of Hilton Hotels has gone down.

It felt like a motel more than a Hilton. Old and dated. It’s dark, and I’m short and felt the ceilings were way too low. We also had to switch rooms because the first one had a faulty wall socket so one of the lights wouldn’t stay on, the fridge wouldn’t work. Other than convenient to the airport there’s not really anything else positive to say here. This is not meant for any more than a night stop over at best. There’s not a great amount of options for food. You need to go to neighboring hotels for Starbucks and other little eateries instead of overpriced hotel food.

A huge airport hotel at LAX, the Hilton is well-placed (accessed by a free shuttle) and has all the up-market trinkets you would expect from the Hilton Group. A warm, welcoming lobby expands to a high (Italian-inspired restaurant), a cosy cocktail lounge and a cafe. All this before registration. The rooms are spacious with the usual amenities. It’s more than adequate for those overnighting, which I suspect, makes up most of the footfall. There is a pool, which looks inviting, and a gym. I wasn’t able to make use of either, but with a little extra time, I most certainly would have. I have tried a few hotels close to the airport here in Los Angeles. They have been good. Some better than others. So, you ask would I come back to the Hilton and yes, I would.

Booked this hotel as it was close to airport and travel group recommended it. As a Hilton loyalty member I trusted the brand. Booked the room online. The day of arrival I contacted the hotel to advise I wanted to change my credit card and the process was easy. I arrived around 3 am. Well after arriving at LAX. Shuttle driver drove past me and another person eventhough we were waiving our arms and yelling. I contacted hotel and they say another Shuttle was on the way. Some 20 minutes passed while we stood in the cold waiting. Upon check in I presumed my credit card had been charged only to be told my new card had not been added to the reservation. I was assigned a room on the 8th floor. Carpets made it difficult to roll my suitcases and I was looking forward to laying my head down. Unfortunately the beautiful lobby did not match my room. Bathroom was filthy and bed was lumpy. So, down I went to the counter to complain. I was given a suite on the 16th floor which matched my expectation. Food was excessively expensive. My family member checked in the next day and their room, also on the 8th floor, had a filthy bathroom with obvious signs of a water leak with wallpaper peeling also her 2nd room was more of the same with lumpy mattresses. Definitely not the Hilton standard.

Clean but outdated room. Found only one USB port. Slow Wi-Fi. We decide for in room dinner. No plates! Plastic fork and knife! Served in a box, 33$ pasta! We did expect more than a camping dinner. The shower knob stuck, you have to pull it with your entire weight, recommended by the staff when calling for help. Plus though for airport shuttle.

Fast shuttle, very clean room, storage for luggage after checkout and before our late night flight. The room has a refrigerator and tea/coffee maker but would have liked a microwave. The bathroom is small and no free internet. Bus stop close by and we caught the bus down to the In N Out burger our favourite when on the west coast, only $1.85 each way. The service station on corner Aviation Blvd sells beer, coffee and take away. Hotel has cafe ánd restaurant options and were busy during our stay. Parking was expensive if you have a car.
