Ok, for a nights sleep. Friendly staff. Room seemed clean enough. I think it was expensive for what it was but perhaps that is just LA The place seedy and run down, and noisy. The included breakfast is a waste of time.

We stayed here for a few days prior to departing for a cruise. The room is nothing to write home about but it has the basic amenities and the staff was pleasant. Never got up early enough for the free breakfast but there is a McDonald's right next door we walked to. Didn't seem to be that great of a...

It was awful. Our room had bedbugs, i spoke with the from desk guy and they didn't redound my money, they changed me to another room, and I couldn't stay anymore so I waked up around 6:30am. And some body broke in to my car, right in front of the hotel cameras, I couldn't make the report at the front...

The Vagabond is a very modest hotel with a great staff. Room 323 has a firm but soft king bed and faces away from the busy street ...top floor so no overhead noise. Spotless and only needs reading lamps ....and a way to have a bit of privacy when the curtains are open...since the corridor is outside the big windows....

Some of the rooms are sort of "tired". Be sure to book a Premium Room as they have been updated. The continental breakfast in minimal but adequate before boarding the ships where you will bet a big lunch immediately upon boarding! The free shuttle to the port (about 2 miles and less than 10 minutes) is a new Mercedes large...

We stayed for 1 night in October 2016 before boarding our cruise. First of all the only good thing about this hotel is the free shuttle to the cruise port. The lady who checked us in wasn't particularly friendly, but this could be easily overlooked if everything else was fine. The whole hotel is in need of a major up...

Chose this hotel because of its location, near to cruise terminal and Tripadvisor reviews. It was convenient and they do offer a shuttle to the terminal. It is close to a few fastfood restaurants, but there's not a lot of choice. Staff were friendly and the breakfast is sufficient with toast, bagels, muffins and some fruit. However, the bathroom was...

Back to our home town "San Pedro" for a visit. The Vagabond's location provides easy access to and from all areas of town. It's close to some good restaurants, the staff is probably one of the friendliest I've encountered in a long time.

Stayed at the Inn on our trip to fleet week to surprise our sailor son, we arrived in town without any room reservations, Big Mistake! after hours of searching for a reasonable room we came upon the Vagabond Inn and got 1 of the last 2 rooms. The room was older but very clean it smelled clean when we opened...

Nice hotel. I will not be staying there but two of my friends are booked there in November. They will be taking a cruise and the Vagabond provides a free shuttle to the port. A maid took me to a two bed Queen room. Room was clean, bathroom counter, with one basin was tile. Small refrigerator and a tv also...
