The historic Millennium Biltmore Hotel has been a legendary Los Angeles landmark since 1923. With exquisite Spanish-Italian Renaissance architecture, including stunning hand-painted ceilings, it's rich history is most noted for its connection with the Oscars - the founding banquet for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences was held in the Crystal Ballroom in 1927, where the original "Oscar" statuette was sketched on a Biltmore napkin, and eight Academy Awards banquets were held in the Biltmore Bowl during the '30s and '40s.

The Millennium was wonderful! The room was so clean and nice. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. A great location downtown as well. Would stay again for sure! Parking garage on site was useful for rental car. Starbucks on the same block.

Hotel's Favourite
Our stay at the Biltmore was a great experience. The building is a historical treasure and a joy to look around. The room was clean, comfortable and elegantly appointed. It was dark and quiet for quality sleeping. Will stay there again on a future visit to LA.

If you are a President (or just want to feel like one), here is your hotel. Stunning architecture in the public spaces with a great lobby and "staircase" room with plenty of nooks and comfortable chairs where you can meet with friends or read. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. They have a very convenient multi-story parking garage where you can self-park with unlimited in-out access- no waiting for a valet to retrieve your car. The bar in the lobby is one of the most beautiful bars I have seen anywhere in the world. We have always received great customer service from the front desk when checking in or out all the times we have stayed here.

We stayed in this hotel for one night with our family as we explored downtown LA. It is not a traditional family hotel, but it wasn't inhospitable. It was just things like the fact that you have to change at the pool, which is in the basement and a bit difficult to find. Not a big deal though. The beds were comfortable and the architecture of the place was amazing! It really added to the experience. The tile around the pool was really interesting and gave it more of an atmosphere than most places. It's an easy walk to Grand Central Market and museums. Overall a decent stay.

The hotel is great but they double charged my card. After more than a month and a lot of emails and calls still no refund. I used to love this place but after this poor customer service I’m definitely not coming back.
