This is in a perfect location! Near plenty of places to eat and I felt super safe. Right across the street from a metro station as well. Staff was nice and we had no problems! Pool area is kind of small so go early if you want a seat. Kind of loud sometimes but it’s Los Angeles so what can you expect. Would stay here again for sure!
Here for 4 unpleasant days for business. This used to be my favorite place to stay in LA. Not anymore. _STAFF: Not helpful at all. Rude and unproffessional. _ROOMS: Run down, feel dirty. I would never take a bath in that tub. Staying at the Ace Hotel next time
Found a sock in my room once I checked in. Also disappointed in the rate practices from this hotel. Booked a 145 rate and only when receiving my folio did I realize my rate was 20 dollars more per day. (This is not the amenity rate). Beautiful property but these two things left a bad taste in my mouth. Read your confirmation rates very carefully after booking to ensure you are paying the rate you booked for.
Great hotel with great vibe, cool design, excellent restaurant- all that gor good value! I nedd to call out the great lobby with bar and its coffee place (Alfreds) as well as the restaurant next to the pool. The rooms have a great view, cool design and floor-2-celing windows.
One of the most ridiculous experience I had in my life. There are thieves in the hotel and the staffs are super irresponsible. We left the room in the morning, and when returning to the room at night, everything in the room was gone. The front desk told us they accidentally cleaned our room as a check out room. All our food were threw away, and they only returned the items that have low value. We left a Gucci necklace on the table(which worth about 500 dollars) and was gone after they cleaned the room. They refused to show the monitor video or to let us talk to the staff that went into the room. It is obvious that one of the staff that stole it and they were hiding the truth as a team. The manager even refused to compensate the lost by stating we have no evidence that we left the necklace in the room. We called the police, but still did not receive any response from both the police and the hotel. Never book this hotel unless you want to give your personal belongings to those group of thieves. Besides stealing, it is also so ridiculous that the staff knocked and opened our door without any permission when we were still sleeping in the morning. It was the most disrespectful and irresponsible hotel I ever experienced in my life time. If you don't want to experience what I have experienced and ruin your holiday, PLEASE DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL!!…
We had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious and had incredible floor to ceiling window views of the city with an impressive minibar. The staff was very friendly and professional. The food at the lobby bar was delicious and we also had great service every time we stopped in during the week. Also, we highly recommend the restaurant on the second floor as well. Would definitely go back!
I would like to warn people to avoid the awful experience I had at this hotel The LINE LA. The window is not sealed properly so that you hear the loud street noise without filtering. The parking fee is $50 per night, while their attitude is so bad and asked me to move over my car by because I had to bring more luggages, They never tried to help me loading my luggages. They charged me $25 per night with the name under "amenities" for using WiFi, but they said it it going to be provided free in their ad, so I disputed and have it refunded $50 for two nights. If you happen to stay in there, please don't forget to dispute the charge and get it refunded. When I checked in and out from the front desk, the staff did computer work while sitting on the chair without looking at me at all. She has no intention of serving her guests at all, and I felt insulted from her ignorant attitude. Her name is Paola, and I stayed in there from Dec. 21st through 23rd. Never ever stay here again. The bathroom shower faucet was dripping water all night and reported the problem, but nobody showed up to fix it during my stay.…
Had no amenities(not even shower cap) in the room, explain only at the check-out that it should have been requested...really I thought it should have been explained at the check out. I apparently spoke to manager (don't know that) at the check in, shower was running all night, they charged for all of it (amenities etc.) I requested manager to call, but no calls, awful service and experience. I didn't care about a view, but Oh Boy noise from a street and adjacent room is unbearable. Please go somewhere else, and pool was cold, so what is the fees charged for???? The rice/room experience/hotel experience is not worth of quality/price. Loos for something better, and cleaner...
Rude front desk. First room curtain was broken. Second room smells like cigarettes, stained floor.. Called front desk to request they make note of these things so it doesn’t come out of the $300 “incidental” deposit they take from your card and was met with extremely negative attitude like I was bothering / upsetting the front desk agent. Complained that every time I am moved the room is no longer bookable due to COVID restrictions so am staying put as to avoid interaction with hotel staff.
My husband booked this hotel - had I read the reviews first I wouldn't have agreed to it because I am a light sleeper. However, I think even if you're a deep sleeper, it would be tough to get some shut eye with the noise. We were on the 7th floor and like other reviewers mentioned, we could hear people's voices late into the night and lots of cars. The windows are very thin. It didn't help that the bed was sunken in through the middle and the pillows were lumpy and hard. We ended up leaving at 2am to drive back to orange county since we were only staying for one night after we saw a concert.
