Location - located on Figueroa Street across the street from the USC campus. Proximity to USC is the biggest winner for this Radisson. Accommodations - The lobby was basic, one story with a small front desk and small pool antey. The gym was basic with 2 treadmills and 2 ellipticals and weights up to 35 OK lbs.. The rooms are decent size and well maintained with nice decor. The bathrooms can stand to be updated though. Service - The front desk folks are OK but the hotel policies really bring it down overall. We stayed at the hotel during move in week and weekend (5 days 4 nights) but were not given a water bottle like everyone else, that was weird. We received some Amazon boxes while there and were charged $5/box after the 3rd box but were not told in advance from the hotel that they would charge us, so they basically held the packages I ordered for my daughter's move in hostage. …
I had to stay an extra night in LA so I researched area around me and found USC hotel. The checkin was at 3pm but they kept my luggage in the morning and I could pick up when checking in. (Very convenient). The have a gym, pool & restaurant downstairs. The room had a king size bed and great space
My husband booked 7 rooms All King Beds on Thee Executive floor. Well, they didn’t happen. I was the 2nd to chk in from our party. Our room was on the 7th floor with 2 double beds, Along w/ 2 other partners. Ken was So condescending I kept telling him we all booked Kings he kept insisting my husband booked 2 beds (he was flying into LA from SF) -I didn’t have the booking # w me after 20 minutes of calling downstairs which they never answered I went down again they gave me the executive floor STILL w/ 2 beds. Horrible service!!! At 9:30pm that evening they moved us. Yes we were dead tired after entertaining at dinner, but we agreed to move to a better room Fire Ken! -Macho Man syndrome
My wife booked us a room here for our son's senior recital at USC's Thornton School of Music. It was very convenient for us as everything we did was on or near the campus. This saved us money as we didn't rent a car.
Stayed one night to attend an event at Banc of California Stadium. This is an older hotel but is comfortable and the employees are welcoming and work hard to help visitors out. The hotel was a bit overwhelmed by the number of people checking in on May 15, 2022 for the Twice concert but did their best and personally despite having to wait a while for our room I am grateful. Our room was ready a little late but still in time for us to relax for half an hour before our short (12 minute) walk to the stadium. I would like to thank Michelle at the Front Desk for working so hard to get us a quiet, high-floor room facing the campus and for letting us park (permit issued) early so we could at least rest in the lobby. Also a thank you to Lizzette in housekeeping for the very clean room with the AC left on so we'd be comfortable upon arrival. Dog friendly, our dog was able to enjoy the small dog run and was welcomed in the lobby during our wait. Walk across the street to UCS for food, Target, Trader Joe's. Wingstop next door open till Midnight on weekends. Ample parking.…
Dated and definitely not a 4 stars! The only positive thing about this hotel is the proximity to the campus. The shower has no pressure at all and the rooms definitely need a remodel The service is also non existing, the people just hand you your jet and you have to guess everything about the restaurants and amenities offered.
We stayed here for the accepted students weekend. The event was literally steps away from the hotel. Accommodations were nice and the staff was extremely kind and accommodating. The only negative was that they did not accept the discount code that the university gave parents to defray the cost of the room.
Attending an event on the USC campus, we were booked in the the USC Hotel and left satisfied. Read on for details. Well, it is convenient, located on the border of campus. A variety of places to shop and eat are reachable on foot. The rooms were spacious, comfortable with a mix of updated furniture and dated items. Why is there a bedside clock with an iPod docking station and no USB ports? The gym is too small for the size of the hotel; it should be at least 50% larger with a greater number of pieces of aerobic equipment and weights. The staff at the desk was friendly and helpful. Our stay was satisfactory and if business requires that we again be near campus, we might come back.
We stayed there for two nights and enjoyed our time very much. This is the ideal location for any visitor of the USC campus. Reception area is roomy, staff very fast and efficient, not to mention their friendliness. Elevators worked very well. Our room was just nice, no complaints at all. Bathroom wonderful. Our room faced the interstate, so there was a constant humm, of course, but at night, with the curtain closed, it was not bad at all. The only thing I missed was a microwave. We got several orders from room service and were very impressed about the quality of the food (breakfast and dinner). Twice we were picked up by a bus for our whole group, and the ramp for the bus was much too narrow; very hard for the poor driver. Wifi included and always worked well. The hotel has a business center with two terminals and one printer - thank you.…
My daughter and I stayed at USC for one night (as we had a USC college tour the next day). The hotel is a great location if you are visiting USC as you can leave your car parked in the nearby parking garage and just walk into USC from the hotel. But the hotel was super outdated, smelled, had a very small appetizer menu at the hotel's restaurant "McKay's" (which by the way, the food was terrible, but service was good). The other nearby restaurant "The Lab Gastropub" was closed that night. If you are going to visit USC, I would go to other nearby hotels as there are parking structures surrounding USC where you can park.
