It’s an okay hotel. I don’t object to its pricing, if I did I would know that upfront and made that decision prior to reservations. The people are nice, kinda okay, nothing special, useful. The hotel is in a nice location blocks away from The Board, MOCA, Disney Center, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, etc. But the food services are average so we eat out. It’s also a funny thing that to use the TV for, say, Netflix, Prime Video or whatever streaming service you have to go through so many hoops it’s ridiculous. We travel all over … you know, the world and no where is it more difficult to sign in to your stupid Netflix, et.al accounts than at the Omni, LA. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. Just saying.

The hotel is solid in a good location, no specific complaints, just feels like it is aging. Carpets in rooms, small musty smell (in one it was large but they accommodated a move), gym a bit tight with more than a few people but serviceable. Shower water pressure modest at best

DON'T STAY HERE. They will soak you for a room that's no better than countless other rooms for less money in LA. I've stayed at numerous hotels in the City, this one doesn't offer anything special, but plan on the "destination fee" which will add considerably to your bill, another $45 or 50 per person for a decent breakfast, $55 per night for valet and the same if you happen to have a visitor that needs to park, etc. etc. For what they charge, you think they could put better mattresses, something besides the oversized polyester pillows, and bad coffee in the room, but no. Room service, while offered, comes in disposable containers.

We know you have many options in Los Angeles, and we are thankful that you chose to stay with us. Please rest assure that it is not our standard of practice to cover up any hidden costs. We are truly sorry to hear you feel that way. All our prices are competitive with other downtown hotels, and are provided on our website. Our guests are very important to us, and a top priority, and we appreciate your feedback so we can address it with our team. We hope that you will provide us the opportunity to exceed your expectations in the future. Sincerely, Shashi Poudyal, General Manager

In general, we always had good experience with Omni hotels, therefore we chose Omni Los Angeles for our last visit. What we liked the most is customer service and supportiveness of the team, very friendly team. This alone is enough to decide in favor of this hotel. However, there are areas for improvement. First, beds are really uncomfortable and old. Every single night I woke up multiple times because of very uncomfortable mattresses. For my next visit I may think twice before deciding in favor of this hotel. One more thing - noice isolation is almost inexistent, you hear everything going on next door and in the corridor. For me the biggest problem was very uncomfortable beds, after all quality of sleep is critical to have a good start of the day.

Great experience. Everything was open and big from the entrance to size of the room to dining area to the pool to the parking etc. Staff are friendly; short drive to local beach and local eateries. Will try again if we have the opportunity again

This hotel is a bit outdated. It is ok to stay for one night, but not very comfortable. The location is good, and staff are attentive. The view was ok, but room is small and lack of amenities. Valet parking was good. Wifi was not fast enough and not free for better speed.

Nice place to stay in Los Angeles. Quiet area thats a bit out of the way if you’re going to Staples Center etc. Reception is friendly and the hotel offers a great free shuttle service for anywhere within a 3 mile radius and will even pick you up. It stops running at 10pm. Nice restaurant / lounge on premise with valet parking. Not many other restaurants in the immediate area though. Rooms are very large and spacious.

Great hotel with nice gym, but a bit pricey. Rooms are huge and clean, but old. Staff is extra helpful! 5 star service! Location is great to visit nearby museums, Grand Central Market, art district etc. DTLA is amazing.

I booked this hotel due to the high rating but unfortunately a disappointment. I will start with the check-inn, today it becomes clear to me that I was charged 3 times for a deposit - first for 269.48 $ - according to the receptionist this amount is denied, and 2 more charges for 200 $ - this is unacceptable. The rooms were nice, big and clean, but it was impossible to sleep at night because of loud music from outside, It turns out that performances take place close to the hotel until the late hours of the night. I arrived after long flights that accumulated to 18 hours and I just wanted to sleep, it did not happen here.

We are truly sorry to hear that your stay was not up to expectations, and for all the frustrations you must have felt with check in and the outdoor performance. Please know that we value your patronage. Our staff is available to discuss any questions you have regarding your charges. And if, at any time during your stay, you need a room move or any other assistance, please do not hesitate to contact the Front Desk. Again we are disappointed that your stay was not a wonderful experience, but hope to have the opportunity to show you the service that we are known for.

The location of the hotel is excellent if you want to explore DTLA. The rooms are fine. But, my recent trip was disappointing because it is a harsh example of a common business practice in the hotel industry. Our room rate was $215/night. But...there was also a $30/day destination charge buried in he fine print. That fee, I assume, cover the use of the gym (good for a hotel) and pool (kinda meh). They also charged $52/day for parking. That is $82 in charges beyond the room rate. The room actually costs nearly 40 percent more than the room rate. The hotel was basically self-service...we didn't see housekeeping the length of our stay. I hope this changes post pandemic.
