My daughters ages 22 and 19 went there today for a well stay while attending Tony Robbins. It was more than a disappointment. The reno doesn't mention that the entire hotel or maybe we should call it homelsss shelter based on the number of homeless people all around the exterior. The rooms are all but striped down and the area...

Given the low price and proximity to Downtown LA, The Historic Mayfair Hotel is an okay pick. Since I was barely in the hotel, I didn't have many complaints - although the right bathroom door would not open, the lights weren't working in the closet, and it almost seemed like the room was unfinished. That being said, the beds were...

I came into town for a conference, and their are not very many options for hotels in the downtown area at a reasonable price. I took a chance on this one based on the pictures and was not happy at all. The tub was the size of a bucket, and the dirty tile that had stuff stuck on the grout...

Me and my colleagues stayed here the past weekend because of work reasons; the hotel is OK and it has a good location but the service at the front desk is incredibly bad, I had a lot of problems in my stay because the staff was very rude and disrespectful. Under $150 for a room, albeit a small room! This hotel is still under remodel so a complete review is unfair. The hotel is approximately 10 minutes from downtown which makes this a great location. The area is safe. Our room was tiny, walls thin, and the door had a gap at bottom (making the room even less noise proof),...

I stayed 5 nights at the Mayfair during a recent convention. My room had recently been remodeled. It was small but comfortable with a nice TV. The property is being renovated so the lobby was workable but not finished.
