Nice place to stay for the most part. A little noisy with the sirens going back and forth outside. Breakfast was great, the dinner menu needs more healthy options and variety. It was a little noisy in the restaurant.

We stayed here one night on a weekend getaway. We arrived before noon and when we checked in we were surprised to find they charge extra to check in before noon! We just left our bag with the porters and explored the area. It is right on the western edge of Little Tokyo. Right behind the hotel is a small...

Hello ddell2, thank you for the kind words. I am sorry that our Early Check In fee was not properly explained. While we do attempt to honor as many complimentary Early Check Ins; at times due to heavy demand we are forced to invoke a fee. I do hope that you can share with me your stay details by emailing...

Have stayed here three times for business. Always happy with the large, clean rooms. The breakfast (offered in a restaurant off the lobby) is really great- their homemade granola is special. The fitness center is well-equipped and clean.

I recently stayed at this hotel for my cousins graduation at USC. As an employee of Hilton I know how difficult working at a hotel can be so when I receive excellent service I must mention the employees to be recognized. I was checked in by Jenny H who was so courteous and accommodating she is a very good example...

I first stayed here in 2012, shortly before it transitioned from the Kyoto Grand. Happy to report that it's been well maintained and my stay was every bit as nice as the previous time. My favorite 3 things about this hotel: the rooftop Japanese garden, proximity to DTLA offices, and Little Tokyo! Sushi, curries, groceries -- it's all literally right...

I go here for business purposes, the location of the Hotel is great, and the staff are very friendly. Rooms are clean, your standard Doubletree. Comfortable beds. They have a Garden that you can walk around when there are no events going on.

It was a great stay at Double Tree but the out skirts of downtown scary 😳 Otherwise all was good. Staff was amazing and when we checked in they gave us warm and delicious cookies. Amazing 👍Next time I will definitely stay there if I'm in the area.

Great accommodations, centrally located. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel busy but not crowded. Cookies an added bonus! Breakfast buffet pricey but worth it. Japanese Garden worth visiting. Will visit again.

I spent one night at The Doubletree by Hilton LA Downtown while I was in town for business. It is pretty true to brand-very clean with modern rooms well-suited for business travel. There are amenities on site which I found to be a relief since I definitely did not want to wander around the neighborhood as it looked a bit...

The Hotel is partly new and partly renovated. Rooms can be very noisy so ask for room not looking on the road. personnel is smiling while professional. Half a hour walk and you will be in the ciy center.

There is a distinct multiplicity of cultures here with a growing influx of business professionals and hipsters. Many call the evolution of Downtown over recent years gentrification.
